  1. Thanks!! For the rigging, I stripped some small speaker wire and used individual strands.... to straighten it out, i pulled it tight using a toothpick to hold it.
  2. According to the ordering page, it is 59.99 per month, for 25 months..... in the end, that totals up to almost $1500....... its nice, and its pretty, but no way..... (laughs)... nope.... no way... not spending that kind of money on a car i cant drive.
  3. Finished this one tonight... Revell 1/48th Stearman PT-17This was my first skilll lvl. 3 Bi-plane, as well as my first time making my own rigging wires...... This build was FUN FUN FUN!!!..... I'm sure it could be better, but I'm content with it!!
  4. I used part sprues for the bomb rack, and the fence posting.... Used aluminum window screen for the fence, and for the concertina wire atop the fence. And I used real grass clippings from my yard for the weeds.....The whole thing is done on some scrap from a cheetos box.... lol.... enjoy!
  5. This little bugger fought me from the word go.... im sure there are TONS of things that could have been done better, but honestly, i was so aggravated with it, i just wanted it off my work bench.......
  6. Thank you very much!!! Kudos to you for taking it on yourself to help with the pic!!! I thought about that as i was taking the first pic..... so i moved back inside, and it was just too dark. Sun was too bright, inside was too dark. Lol
  7. Calling this one finished..P-61 Black Widow... For whatever reason, it just doesn't seem to be very photogenic...... of course, the original 1:1's apparently werent either, as there are very few pics and vids of them out there!
  8. Honestly, it only took about 6 hours, and was actually a complete bore..... almost EVERYTHING is done in flat black, and the only place with any real detailing is the cockpit area...Mine was a Revell kit, and I was greatly dissapointed when I opened it.....There were parts broken from the sprue floating around all over the box, fuselage panels warped to the moon and back...I had to have 10 clothespins to clamshell the fuselage together. The decaling was honestly the most enjoyable part of the whole build.
