I have contacted someone about machining a 1 peice rim with holes in aluminum. I mentioned this thread and the ACME thread to show him there is interest. This person does a lot of slotcar stuff. He is fairly new and is still learning but may be our best bet. They probably need laced with stainless steel wire for appearance longevity.

Look up the model of the cars color offerings for that year "if it is a factory color" if it is have your local automotive paint store mix you a half pint in their cheapest base coat. Reduce that base coat with its reducer you will have to buy a qt but it will go a long way. Shoot it through your airbrush and clear with lacquer. Perfect match.
