  1. I know what you mean ,I used a multitude of sanding sticks on mine as well and yes, some pretty bad chrome work. and some parts with crazy mold line locations. Mike
  2. I was thinking Fiat Topolino.
  3. I wanna go so bad , maybe next week some time. I remember all of this. Mike
  4. Thanks so much Ray. I painted the rear wheels this afternoon and will un-tape them soon. Mike
  5. Thanks Gary. The rear wheel molding is pretty sad on the outer edge and I have a small sand blaster so I have been stripping a lot of chrome in favor of paint. Mike
  6. Thanks Gary. Keeping me off the streets. Mike
  7. I got this and it is way out of my wheelhouse but having fun with it. I am planning on using the body and as you can see the crank mounted blower. The tubes you see on the blower will extend out past the body where the scoop will be located. Not very good on instructions but most of the fit is pretty good. Mike
  8. Thanks so much. I just had to build it because I did years ago. Thanks, Mike
  9. I am pretty surprised at all the comments on why we do what we do and all the thoughts we have. I buy my kits simply for the nostalgia and just happen to build a few along the way. Thanks to everyone. Mike

  19. Gerry , I hope you do what ever you like and all goes well. These hobbies should be fun and if they start to cause stress , it is time for a change. Thanks , Mike
  20. I would say that may be a good guess for most of us! LOL
  21. That is a great stash !!!
  22. We have similar taste's and I used to work for AMC and looking to get one of the Matador kits. Mike
  23. We own a model train shop and I tell guys all the time "it is not about how many we have or the money we have or the talent we may have. It is DO WE HAVE FUN " Yes we do.
  24. My wife understands what I do and that is , what I am buying now is simply there to remind me of the thousands of hours I spent, as a teenager, building models. I may never build them. I don't care. All I need to do is simply go look at them and in them and I am 17 again. They are , for me , my time machine. I am so glad that Round 2 and others have brought so many back to me to re-live. Mike
