  1. I have ordered several orders from overseas and received them within a weeks time. The guy is top notch there! This guy in Florida screwed me out of an order! He’s in over his head!
  2. I really like these paints, however myself and a buddy of mine have had some of the same issues that others have had here! This is ridiculous! I had finally heard from them after over a week and was just figuring that I was going to have to contact PP and ask for a refund, I was then contacted and Mate I think it was said his site had been hacked and he had not been recieving his emails or orders. Something along those lines. This was last year when I had placed my order. I really loved the paint though and reccommended it to a friend. Well lo and behold my friend ordered some paint and here we go again! 3 weeks no reply, and he has now contacted PP to request a refund! This is very sad because this is awesome paint! But there seems to be a great mismanagement going on here with this company. Something is very wrong here because seeing these issues some of the same I have experienced, and now a year later my friend is experiencing the same thing!
  3. about the time I got out the resin kits were coming out, eBay and the internet was rolling quickly up from its beginnings, the kits I put together as a teen were selling for hundreds of dollars! Crazy! Really amazing how quickly things snowballed, and heck the years passed by! I gotta get to building before I kick the bucket! Lol! thank you guys for the replies!
  4. I have painted, stripped, and repainted a few pieces on this build 2-3 times! Either not satisfied with the finish or dust getting on the piece! Wife is getting me a paint booth for Christmas, so that should help keep things cleaner. Thank goodness for Super Clean! That stuff strips chrome or paint in a matter of minutes! Great stuff! I painted the rims after stripping them with Alclad polished aluminum. Didn't even use a base coat on em. The rear end I used the same thing but sprayed the Alclad black base and went a bit heavy with the paint. I got the result I wanted with that. It came in the kit chrome but I prefer the look it has now. I am having to do a bit of body work to the body, mostly around the headlights and rear part of it specifically the corners making them smooth and conforming It's getting there....
  5. A very nice Wicked 55! Love it!
  6. Wow! What a super build! I know one thing, by the way that car is coming together it's going to be about as correct and perfect as one can get!
  7. That is a sharp car! Some very nice stuff on that machine! how did you do those CF valve covers?
  8. Hi all, I started on this kit about 2 weeks ago, it's been going slow because I keep changing things on the durn thing! Here are a few pix of it so far....
  9. Thank you fellas! I've got one under construction at this time, I'll see about posting some pics in the drag car thread when I get a chance.
  10. Thank you! I'm looking forward to building again!
  11. Hi all, I was into the mostly model cars about 15 years ago and got out of it. Came across about 15-20 kits most unwrapped and decided to start building them again during the winter months since my other hobby has been R/C heli's and I don't normally fly those through the winter months. I gotta say the hobby has advanced with some really cool things one can do with their models! I am mostly into the drag cars, and my first project is my Jungle Jim Blue Monza funny car. I have already done the red one years ago, so looking forward to doing this other one. I also have an interest in the GP and other motorcycle kits which I have some of those also to put together. So for now I'm gonna check out the site and see what's new...
