Thanks. I fit together Amt 59 Camino bed rails and something red plastic wood part, maybe from Monogram 40 ford pick up kit. I`m not sure.

Johan rebuild Fury kit with Amt boat + trailer. Modelhaus glass and bumbers. Engine is 63 Ford Big Block but engine bay have no special items so hood keep closed. Some modifications are tires/wheels, boat window frame and surf board on the roof rack make this car like a Surf Wagon. Happy beach life.

Hello. One year silence and i`m here again. Desoto base is Johan recycling body. Donor kit is AMT Chrysler 300 and it was give chassis and the interior parts. Vacuum formed glass, hood and Long Ram intake parts are from modelhaus. Engine block is from Lindberg 64 Dodge kit and mix of other Mopar kit spare parts. Job is take a long time and was full of fitting parts and modification again, again and again but nonetheles interesting and fun. I know original Desoto is unibody chassis without separate frame but hey it`s metal and not impossible thing to do that way in reality. Anyway i think this look more realistic solution than original Johan model. Silver Machine name is stolen from Hawkwind Band.

Overall sharp work, paint job, details, pictures. First time i see good looking painted wires. Usually i cut molded wires off because painting is painfull.

I just add a couple of project pictures here. Clean body and bumbers fit. Engine room under work. Door panels almost ready.

Thanks for the comments. Air-trax resin models firm do 69 Chrysler 300 2D kit. I was find 4D body bumbers, dashboard and chassis plate from manufactures trashcan, (not for sale B-parts). However quality is better than most other resin cast company kits. I think 4D Chrysler never been released and mine build is only one in the world. Donor kit is Revell Charger where i get chassis parts, engine and interior, door panels are convert to 4D and made to fit. Some aftermarket parts used too. First i was think to build curbside model with dark windows but then case left out of hands.
