Thanks for all the comments everyone. Here is a mockup pic and some pics of the frame and inside of the limpala (limo impala) it will have a 327 small block that the kit came with, it will be lowed a little bit, the color will probably be black and it will have exhaust exiting from in front of the rear wheel wells. comments welcome

This is my first time stretching a car. One of the cars are Revell's low rider impalas and the other is Revell's foose impala and from what I have see from the two kits they are the same exept for the custom parts that they come with so most parts are universal. Comments welcome

This is Revell's 31 ford model A 2in1 with a home made bt4 cummins and 5 speed standard. This project is being built with a 359 peterbilt that you can see in the On the work bench big rigs forum (garage sale restoration peterbilt 359 rat rod car hauler) I don't know how to attach links so that's the best I can do. If you have any questions fell fee to ask and comments welcome

Here is my May update still a long way to go. Haven't worked on it much all that's done is the exterior painted and the engine bay.

I would like to make it a roll off flat bed the only problem is I don't know how to make it functional. If anyone has any pics of functional roll off beds I would like to see pics I might just make a non functional bed. Ether way it will look like a roll off bed. The pic is welderups truck that I am yousing as inspiration and I will try to do rust similar to it. Thanks

I got this model from a garage sale last weak and want to try to redo it as I have never done it before. This is my version of the welderup peterbilt. It will have twin turbos, nitrous oxide and that is all I have planed so far. There will be a rat rod on the back but I am going to start on the truck first. Let me know what you think so far. There This is how it looked when I got it will be more pics to come.

Yeh sorry about that I forgot all about that part of your writeup another good Porsche V8 swap is the Porsche 914 it is mid engine and revell makes a kit of it that I plan on doing a V8 swap. As for the aluminum block and heads I have some silver paint that looks like aluminum so it can have a aluminum block and heads personally I would have never thought of that so thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks for the comment Snake you an Ace are some of the best and I just want to say thanks as you don't know how much it means for you guys to comment on my post as I have wanted to build models like you guys ever sines I first seen this website a year or so ago (I never knew how to register until just a cupel of weeks ago but I have followed you build for a long time). You are very helpful and it is people like you guys that inspire me and give me the drive to do better and try harder on every build. Thanks

Thanks for the comment. I see where you are coming from and there is no reason for a V8 Porsche in the real world but I like doing V8 swaps in cars that were never ment to have V8 as I have a VW bug with a 60s rail car with a blown HEMI and I have a WIP Lamborghini countach with a blown 426 HEMI. I love drag cars,V8 and am not a fan of flat 6s and super cars so when I have a Porsche or Lamborghini I am going to do something crazy. It is only a $40 box of plastic that sits on a shelf and doesn't go any where so you mine as we'll make it look cool. I hope I don't sound like I disagree with you Ace I respect your opinion and agree with you 110% on the fact that V8 Porsches are not a good idea and are a waste of time in the real world.

I am not a big fan of Porsches but I love V8s, 4 speeds and drag cars so I decided to make a muscle Porsche. It has a parts box engine, a 4 speed transaxle from vw bug and parts box drag tires, seats, roll bar and big shifter. It still needs a lot but I thought I would post some pics to see what people think so fell free to let me know what you think Questions and comments welcome

1966 dodge power wagon w-300 4-door is ready
426 pack replied to oldr-n-drt's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Will you com out with a 61-64 dodge d100 single cab long box? Like the one Modelhaus had If you do I would be very interested as I have a 1:1 project that I want to build a replica of it. -
Thanks for the suggestion. The way you did the Zed frame is the way I originally wanted to do it but abut 3 years ago I wanted to do a Zed frame and I cut the front of the frame and I lost interest in it so it ended up in a box. I just found the frame a cupel of days ago and the front of it was gone so I had to build the front from scratch I plan on doing another frame like the way you did yours.

Hello I signed up a couple of weeks ago but had not seen this thread until now. I am 16 years old and from British Columbia Canada. A Mopar freak and a model car geek. I have built model cars for the past 3 years and collected more than 100 models in the process but only have 30 of them built. I signed up to the MCM so I can get help and an outside opinion from great model builders like everyone here and I am always ready to learn so if you see a thread with 426pack feel free to comment or give suggestions because that's why I signed up. Thanks 426pack

Just built this on the computer today it will go on the trunk of the Dodge Monaco once I get some decal paper

Du to some technical difficulty my razor blade sliped well cuting the trunk open and now there is a cut line across the back of the 1930 ford model A and don't fell like fixing it right now. I will find another model to build and post a pick of the kit

Here is my build it is a revell 1930 model A it will have a revell Lamborghini countach lp500s motor and will be all wheel drive.

Hi I just came across this post today and was wondering if I could enter? If so are the models judged by photos or do you have to bring the models somewhere to be judged? If they are judged by Photos I will be able to participate if not I live too far away from any major city to take part.
