  1. I have spent the better part of a week building the gearbox. Lots of little bits and pieces. I did decide to use some RB Motion A N fittings. I wasn’t happy with the ones that came with the kit and these match the reference photos I have of the car. Hopefully you like
  2. Wrapped up the headers. Man those springs are fun to play with? I also installed some top studio 02 censors.
  3. I took advantage of the the wife being busy with other stuff this weekend. I probably have about 10 hours into just the fuel injection system, a lot of wires into a small space. I took some liberty with the valley tray/intake manifold. The directions say paint it interior green. Not many photos of it. The ones I have, it looks like fiber glass or some sort of composite. Sure hope you like ?
  4. So true, have to find the right window to get some decent progress
  5. So those of us living on the left coast have been spoiled by our weather, but also have been plagued by drought and forest fires for the last 3-4 years. Now we are getting hammered by rain and high humidity. Not very friendly when you want to get some painting done and make some progress on your current build. But there was a window of opportunity to get some stuff done… so here it is ?
  6. No worries, he’s easily distracted by shiny new things ?
  7. I see your showing off again ? as usual outstanding stuff Bruce
  8. Since it’s going to be a New Year. It’s time for a new build ? I am going to attempt to build the Ferrari 333SP from Model Factory Hiro in 1/12. Mr. Paul Cadwell (aka.. 2 Wheel) will be joining me in this adventure with a friend build, hopefully I can coax him into finishing this before he finds something new and shiny ? Hopefully you’ll enjoy this journey with me, and I thank all of you for your support. Chris
  9. Thanks for the kind words. Actually I’m not done with this yet, still more to do. I do remember that Tamiya has done a T70, I was wishing MFH would take a crack at one?
  10. So today I didn’t do a lot to the speed 8 , but what I did do makes me super happy. I was a little nervous, but after some patience I can’t stop geeking over this. So those of you that know about model factory hiro kits sometimes the resin parts need some massaging to get the gaps to line up. In this case the front cover didn’t sit square and was pretty warped. So I took some tape and got the part where I wanted it to be, took my heat gun and warmed the part up until everything just laid into place with some pressure with my hand. thanks for enjoying this ride still more to do before I call it done
  11. Hi Pascal! I’m a big fan of your work? Thank you the kind words I also just received the 333sp! Can’t wait ? I love to see a version of this ?
  12. Thank you for checking in. It’s always a guessing game on what Mr. Hiro is going to produce next, There are so many great and iconic cars that would be cool if they made them. I am using Gravity and love this color, I’m probably going to take some outside photos come springtime when it’s sunny.
  13. A few more bits finished! Still lots more to do… Thank you all for following along ?
  14. Thank you all for the kind compliments!! yes it will be tough to see the dash when it’s installed.
  15. It seems like forever since my last update…
  16. Thank you, I haven’t rubbed it out yet?
  17. Finished up the front suspension ? soo… much more to do ?
  18. A few hours of massaging to get to this point …
  19. Coming from you, this is a great compliment ? thank you!!
