please check some early post in this theme
someone posted great photos in this unique
celica.
Man, if the kit you have is the tamiya curbside
for sure you can do it in a month.
the most time comsuming would be the body and tires details.
with a good paint and decal work, some photo etch clips
here and there and a clean interior, for sure you could do sometyhig cool.
listen, I have the same all excuse, someday I would build this and that
and years past and it does not go no were.
we all love group fives but hardly people build them
take advantage of the buildoff for motivation
and let's have fun remembering the great old days of real racing.
there will be time to do everything else....go open that box,
see what you need and go to the hobby store and get it.
clean the parts and the body. it will take you an hour or two.
spray it, leave it...do some of the chassie, next couple of days
take your time in the wheels, paint them right. detail, it will make the model
stand out....the body should be dry, check, wet sand if you have to.
do the decals, let it dry , next day a spray clear....next days finish
the chassie part. and in the last week a little polish and you are done.
come on....GROUP5, GROUP5, GROUP5, GROUP5.....
