  1. Now to make it a long box. I cut 1/4" off the rear of the grey box. Next I cut off 9/16" off the front of the same box. I put the box from my lowrider build on top to show the difference. Here is a mock-up with the converted box. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
  2. The ride height was set for 3" in the front. 5" inches in the rear thatx to a height jig I made. Now for the heart of the Lil Red. Yeah its got a Hemi. I too the hemi from the 2006 Chrysler 300 kit.Mainly for the engine cover. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
  3. A friend of mine asked me to build a replica of his friends truck for him.I was not expecting it to be a longbox though. The conversion was quite easy. But the paint on this truck will probably be the biggest task of all.Now on to the progress pics. I started with this. For the conversionI needed 2 beds. First I cut the front of the white box out. The I cut the taillight section off. That was the chopping of the first box more to come soom. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
  4. This is not going to be a purist type build.I tend to go with my mini-trucker mentality on most of my builds. So with that said here is a mini-truckers take on a Lil Red Express. I went with a backhalf instead of a full frame. More to come soon.
  5. The base for this kit was The AMT 1984 GMC.

  8. Well its been a bit since I posted on this thread.I test fitted the motor in the frame to start planning the exhaust. Threw the body on to check hood clearence....... And it didn't fit. So I decided to add a Competition Resins 6" outlaw cowl scoop. Forgot to take a pics of the giant hole I cut out of the hood. I got the engine almost done.Just need to plumb the rad hoses.Has anyone plumbed this engine before? Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
