I was given this Polar Lights ECTO 1 model as it was glue bomb. The first owner had painted it with a brush and tried to tint the windows. I striped the paint off the body but the windows were ruined so I painted them black. There were 8 holes in the roof I filled in. Purchased the decals on Ebay, not quite what I wanted but they worked.

Thanks for the input Will move winch close to cab -
Please look at the photo and advise which version of the tractor look better, the winch close to the cab with barrels towards the rear or winch towards the rear and barrels towards the cab. I cut sleeper off and made deck plate for winch. Nothing glued down.

AMT to reissue the Alaskan Hauler Kenworth
ROY FERGUSON replied to Mr mopar's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Is there any more info on release date ? -
AMT 1950 Chevrolet pickup. Nice kit no flash or warpage. The windshield was basically the same size as the opening. Trying to put the windshield in it slipped and got glue on it. I fogged the windshield with smoke trying to make it look tinted ,did not work. I will get another one and figure out the windshield.

In Honor Of The Fallen
ROY FERGUSON replied to Plowboy's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
This is a diecast Ford produced by SpecCast as a bank and also sold as a model kit. The tires are from AMT Ford pickup kit. -
I shortened the frame of the Ford. I modified the auger utility body by adding a shortened fuel tank on the left side, crafted a rack and filled it with tools, installed a light on the boom and added decals to cab and boom, put safety stripping around the bottom of the bed, made controls for boom from straight pins and added black wire to drum on the deck of the body.

I built this Revel Bronco basically stock with the exception of Olson Brothers front bumper with winch and rear bumper.
