My favorite hands down is Smokey and the Bandit, one movie I hope never gets remade. No chance they can get a cast as good as the original, especially someone like Jackie Gleason.
Yep, love that movie. I laugh like a drunk hyena every time I watch it.
I don't know if there will ever be a movie remake, but there is a tv show in development: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/smokey-and-the-bandit-tv-series-in-the-works-from-seth-macfarlane-danny-mcbride

Are you alright?
I think so.
Are you sure? Cause you just went through a wall.

With no hobby shops in my metro area, will there be an option to order a copy of the magazine directly from MCM? Will one of the online retailers carry it?
I have the same question. I subscribed, but I did it too late to get the first issue of the relaunch.

It's good to be the king.

It's a tie between the DiCaprio version of The Great Gatsby, and Hail, Caesar! I was so disappointed with Hail, Caesar! because I always have high expectations for a Coen brothers movie and this was so boring.

Sorry Guy's, I feel like I have opened up an ugly can of worms here with this Createx thread. It started with a general Createx question then evolved into a specific color issue then into a bit of a acrylic versus other medium as well as cost issue and so on. I kinda feel like I'm being a bit of that pain in the behind about this.
The thread may have ultimately gone in a different direction than intended, but I feel that it generated a lot of useful information.

On which one, the Mustang or the '57 Chevy? I noticed that the rear tires on the Chevy weren't as large as I'd have liked, but otherwise didn't notice anything unusual.
I only quoted the part of your post about the Mustang. Please don't take this as a smart ass response. It's not my intention. I couldn't come up with any combination of words that didn't sound like a smart ass. The written word is not a strong point for me.

Walmart had a couple new things today. Yet another M2 '65-'66 Mustang 2+2 variant, this one a stock '65 in Poppy Red with the styled steel wheels. If you've been looking for the now semi-rare old Monogram kit that hasn't been reissued in decades, this might work nicely for you. (I already have three M2 Mustangs so don't really need another one.)
Did the wheels/tires look too small to you? I was looking at one of those the other day, but it looked like it was on 12" wheels. I didn't have my glasses with me, so it very well may have been because of my poor eyesight.

I picked up the '55 Vette. Went there for the Cutlass, but my local store didn't have any.

Createx has a great series of videos on YouTube. I've watched a lot of them lately. I haven't used their paint yet, but I have plenty of it waiting for me to get my paint area set up.

I can see the pics now. It was well worth the time checking back here. Great job on all three cars.

I still don't get any pictures.
Me either. I'm going to try a different browser.
* I tried a different browser but still got the same gray circles. Strange.

Nice group Gary.

I'm not seeing any pictures, Peter. Just gray circles.

Both Mustangs look great.

In a Valley of Violence. An entertaining Western movie with Ethan Hawke and John Travolta. It has a bit of humor if you like that sort of thing.

Amazing build. I really like the exhaust coming up behind the cab.
