Quick mockup before i start the interior

These 1/87 scales are cool man!...way to small for my fingers lol but cant wait to see them together.

Thanks the roof on the cab is going black as well. Pretty much copying this truck as much as i can.

Made some more progress over the weekend. I painted the cab, hood, fenders and engine/trans ( trans will be going black or red) also assembled the wrecker boom and tower then primered it. Still need to paint the wrecker body though.

That hood looks like the real thing now! Awsome how u made it look like the clear coat is peeling off! ?

I dont think ford ever made a aluminum cab for the ltl9000, but could be wrong...regardless the patina looks awsome ide keep it the way it is

Wow that rust looks real man!... those ltl's had a very bad rust problem so it fits well lol one minor thing is the hoods were fiberglass so they dont rust, but still looks incredible! Cant wait to see more and would be super cool to build something to be hooked to the back. Im building a 359 pete wrecker and its going to look new and shiny only because i dont have the talant to pull of the weathered look haha

Chassis is together and primed...was going to leave it but want a deeper black.

Yeah everything is bare plasitc no chrome Which is really nice the tires are black plastic also..its actually a really nice model alot of detail

Picked up this heller model off ebay the other day and cant wait to start it. Never heard of them but looks like a nice quality kit and it came with paint, paint brush and glue. Its a 1/43 scale so a bit small but should be fun.

Hey guys just getting back into building models from when i was younger. Just bought a couple trucks and equipment so should be building soon. Wish i knew about the build off or i would have started this a couple weeks earlier lol.
