  3. awesome job man!!!! imagine.... this is only #2!!!! can't wait to see #3
  4. not suprising..... camaros are popular with collectors.... they buy to jack up the prices and re-sell at meets and such.... we just like the goodies they come with and could care less about the rest.... thats like buying a vintage kit and leaving the shrink wrap on...
  5. i think this picture is gross and obscene and needs to be removed immediately......

  8. those years are my favorite porsches.... what scale is that kit in? did you have to open it up?
  9. building a track car?
  10. thanks everyone for the comments.... i myself have been mostly building lowriders.... in the past i've done a scratchbuilt lift kit for the lindberg 97 ford 4x4 kit based of a 1:1 lift kit i saw featured in a 1:1 magazine... i have also tried a few street machines and got a 37 ford sedan i'm trying to chop and section... i know a lot of work goes into building rat rods, street rods, and everything else.... i just wish people could look past the image that a lot of people have associated with lowriders... and to answer a few of the questions.... the kit is a Lindberg 1961 Impala convertable... intake from the AMT 58 impala... chrome valve covers from the old revell 55 belair (yes that pain in the *** old kit with the opening doors) added the hydraulic cylinders from the AMT 1970 Monte Carlo lowrider... bucket seats (kit came with a bench) came from a diecast 63 impala convertable (classic metal works???).... front bumper with the deluxe bumper guards comes from a diecast 61 impala they sell in walmart.... rear bumper is from a 1959 impala kit...
  11. exactly..... i bet if i did up a 32 ford as nice i would have more comments.... we need to come together as a building community or we'll have nothing....

  18. yes, the front suspension is from the 70 monte carlo kit.... they put very little effort into detailing the molded on front suspension....
  19. here's my list.... 63-65 Buick Riviera (this could be a optioned as the new merc) 71-72 Buick Riviera late 70s-early 80s Chevy Malibu 2-door (hot rod, prostreet or lowrider) 96 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (could be based on the 94 impala kits) 68 Chevy Impala (could be based on the 67 impala kits) 69-71 Grand Prix 73-87 Chevy Pickup 2wd shortbed 56-68 Chevy fullsize 4-door wagons oh and as far as the new and current kits.... i think their sales would probably better without "Donks" At least show the car built stock in the boxart.....
  20. much more work to be done....
