The Germany kit has better decals, but other than that, they are the same exact kit. -

I used a rivet making tool. It’s a pounce wheel. I run it along a straight edge. -

Great looking build Tim. I put one of your modified AMT chassis under mine. I used Drew’s method for fixing wheel openings. It’s sitting in primer, I need to clear my bench and get er done. Hopefully mine look 1/2 as good as yours.? -

This is my second build of this car. I started with the AMT 63 1/2 ford galaxie. Back seat and tranny hump has been removed and replaced with styrene and putty. Roll cage IS PPP. I used sheet aluminum to fashion door panels and use one of my own resin seats. The floor pan was cut out on both sides to accommodate the exhaust running through the frame rail. The engine has been moderately plumbed. I used 1/16th chartpak crepe tape and wrapped the steering wheel and roll cage. Paint is MCW enamel white and Rangoon red topped with automotive 2K. Thanks for looking

After a back injury in 2019 and having to retire, I don’t know why but I took to model building like I never stopped. After a 40 year hiatus I started by building the typical 90’s nascar kits. I soon found Salvino models and started building retro models. Unless it’s Wood Brothers, I build strictly 60’s - early 80’s. I love when cars were recognizable along with sponsors. I included a few of my builds.

Yes, they are producing gen7 Camaro kit. No fords or Toyotas yet. No they are not moving away from the 70’s & 80’s cars. Lots of cool stuff planned for 2022. Jim Rodgers designed this from ground up with CAD files. Details are amazing. Due to licensing, the plans cannot be shown publicly without consent from Nascar and Salvino’s.

This is my interpretation of Rays Charger. His early chargers were a metallic blue, and later were solid blue.
