  2. Hi Roy! The main thing in mixing any paint is to have the consistency of milk! How much thinner for lacquer and enamel reducer for enamel paints depends on the thickness of the paint. Enamel has more pigments, which makes it um thicker? Your local hobby shop should carry some good paints, Testors, Model Master and Tamiya! I use a few things for masking; I use Frisket paper sold by Badger, Hobbico Master Mask liquid and fine line 3m tape. When buying thinner, I buy it by the gallon normally about $25.00 (the good stuff) by PPG or Dupont and the best one but pricy is HOK Thinner. What airbrush did you buy? Hope this helps a little. Manny
  3. Thanks lowrider! Well Mike Levellie is the #1 guy for the true fire flames. I bought his CD ($70.00) on how to do them on 1:1 cars when I do them. I just kinda did my own type simular but on 1:25scale. I have the right templete on order still lol. I am working on putting together a how-to on this based on the truck im working on now. And you know......lowriders look sweet with the graphics!!!!!!!!! Thanks and will keep everyone updated. Manny PS. M.L. now has a templete kit that he sells for doing the flames, last i checked it was about $100.00 or so. (Maybe 5-8 temepletes included)
  4. Thanks Jairus! I was planing on some other graphics but decided to keep with the burst flames (forest fire) I guess i would call it lol I just got it cleared and rubbed out today, now gonna work on the engine and stuff. Thanks Manny here is an update pic of it.
