Thanks for the comments guys, i have thought about those wheels; but they arent available in the Uk and far to expensive to get shipped over. Was hoping to try and get some when i came over this year but alas that all fell through and i didnt come.

Sorry for slow responce life just gets in the way and i have been working on the real thing. which is a Consul Capri.

This is my (very) longterm build, again stalled due to trying to work out how to precede with some areas. Apart from one or two scrap bits from kits and the wheels/tyres its all scratch built.

As promised here is another of my on the go projects. The roof is chopped at the rear, done like you would on a merc, window cut out whole; roof dropped and then blended back in. front screen not chopped but sunk down. stuck on what to do for the side windsows, thats why its not got further along.

Not dome much model making of any kind recently but was back on here for inspiration and decided to post a few more pics. might post a few other projects as well.

Hi, I have been looking at some of the fantastic work going on here and though i should post some pics of one of mine. The first is what i started with, a 90% done but stalled Custom build. the next three are where it sist currently.

Since posting my initial pictures, i have spent most this year working on rebuilding the rear of the real car as pictured. I have done some on the model though and am reaching the stage when i might try to cast a resin copy. I also dabbled with 3D printing some wheel center's for one of my other projects

found this the other day and i have to sat truly awesome. Makes my project look like i am not trying hard enough. i am making Ford Consul Capri, as i own a full size one; i have attached some pictures.
