  1. There are some jokers on E-bay that seem to make a business out of shipping charges...there is a US guy who has a decal sheet I was interested in, just decals! 12$ he wanted...and 46$ shipping to Germany! I asked his if he could not just mail the decals as a letter...he said "I don't do just letter shipping"...so I thought F...k O.f... ? cheers Uwe
  2. The Revell 359 in 1/25 has not one bit in commen with the 1/16 Pete...since it is a Revell USA native mold and not an old Monogram one. So by the looks of it the W900 is the only kit that was cloned from 1/25 to 1/16 or visa versa...where as the 1/16 Pete does not have a direct Monogram 1/25 clon. I will post pictures of comparison once the big W900 arrives... thanks Uwe
  3. I have a Freightliner Cab Over kit here from AMT...very basic kit to say the least, and I was toying with the idea of bolting the rear frame of a Kenworth W900 kit to it, also with Air Ride. So things like that are done in real life...hey, will give it a try! ? cheers Uwe
  4. Hello all I was lucky today and bought/ordered a 1/16 Kenworth W900 from Monogram. Not cheap but within sensable limits! Now, checking the parts on pictures on the web it looks like a direct clon of the 1/25 Revell kit that is on offer still, I assume this is also and older Monogram mold. Now I also have the 1/16 Pete 359 from Monogram...but I have so far not found it's clon in 1/25. Did Monogram never mold that version in small? The available Revell, ex Monogran, snap kit is a different version, no turbo, airfiliter on the other side, coffin sleeper, etc... The 1/16 Pete is also a short hood version, the current Revell native kit is a long hood. Last but not least...the Kenworth W900 Aerodyne in 1/16...does this one have a 1/25 clone kit? thanks Uwe
  5. Hi there This is a great truck...and an ispiration for me for the next W900. I have another one in the mail...crapy pre-buid one but part wise all there. Your mod looks like the "Snowman" truck...the one I want to build from the junk yard kit. cheers Uwe

  7. Thanks a lot for that tip...available in Germany, just ordered a set! thanks Uwe
  8. Hello all What do you all use for replacing those thin, ugly, revell 1/26 tyres that for example come in the 359 kits? I know the later Kenworth W900 models come with better tyres but those are modern Michelin 295/80 22,5. Are there any replacements out there for proper 70/80ties tyres? thanks Uwe
