Hi, my name is Bruce from Melbourne Aust. I recently started building models after a very long break of about 50 years from teenager to old bloke. I started building trucks because my son drives a Kenworth 909 tipper and 5 axle dog trailer and I wanted something to occupy my mind and hands. I have built 4 models so which I really enjoy doing but are not up to show standards of which I have seen on this forum.

G'day from Australia I am another one who used to build models in my younger day and now I am semi-retired and needing a hobby I thought about building trucks. 2 reasons, firstly my son drives a Kenworth 909 for a soil delivery company in Melbourne and secondly model trucks (1/25 scale) don't take up as much room as model planes. My models are relegated to my workshop/garage because according to my wife they do not go with the decor in our house. I am sure we would all agree they would but "happy wife, happy life" Bruce
