  1. I was given a Porsche by my wife in the fall of 2007, without really realizing it I chose a manual.
In short, it saved my life.
It stopped 20 times on the first day and I couldn't deny how exhausted I was, changed my life and became a happier person who also has a Porsche.

The ProTech aluminum nuts are not inexpensive either. But I get it, as they are small, and made of aluminum, and the tolerances are right on, so I expect to pay for quality. I was looking into RB Motion, but their website is kinda funky, I had read that they are WAY behind on orders. I might assemble my wheel lugs tonight. I have the studs (rod) tips painted, and the wheels drilled, thanks to some helpful info on here.

Nice, a fellow drills through a thin or actually two aluminum tubes to hit the center of the bolt, the coarser one fits right over the "bolt" and inside that he has a thinner one to be able to use a really thin drill. On old AMT rims there won't be much left to cut away after that.

  3. It would be wonderful if it could be available in Europe too, at least for Christmas and in the typical holiday resorts...
There are so many ordinary people who are so keen to build plastic models again but the step to ordering online, combined with the great supply, is too big.

I'm at the stuck stage. I'm having difficulty deciding the best way to paint 2 sprues of mostly tiny parts. Anybody got any advice?DSC09258.thumb.JPG.b3208a558c38ac3e32b176bf26c9b2e4.JPG

I cut, prep, build, wash, prime, paint and detail.
For me, the priority is: well built with prepped parts before separately painted parts. I learned to build like that when I built tanks.

    Wow...I missed that one.

    Almost everyone has done so.
Immediately after filming, the car was sold and exported to Sweden where it still exists today, I think. I last saw it less than ten years ago.
With a bit of luck I will be able to post some pictures this fall so you can build an accurate replica.

Like the line of Fords, we can interchange parts from different Chevy kits to make something unique!

I converted my '66 shortbox to a 4X4 using another Mobius kit. Parts just fell into place.

It really is 2024, the golden age of modeling, that the parts of a kit are part of a larger context and can be exchanged between different kits. It is nice that Moebius has not abandoned the American way that can be derived from the promos, 1/25 / body / interiortub / engine / axles / wheels so that compatibility with Jo-Han, AMT and Revell remains.

Your Camaro looks promising, you've done a great job with the lights.
The little edge on the front fenders at the side of the lights is easy to miss but your prepping looks very good.

  8. Thanks for the feedback, sorry I was a bit unclear, he probably wants to darken the brass. I think I have figured out why the parts have not darkened for him, he has turned pieces out of the good to have box and happened to take a more noble alloy.
The vapors from cooked eggs apparently darken the surface.
It is easy to take what is at hand when you have flow.
