Great job!!!!! the wheels look fantastic

i started this model two years ago but its still in the same way that you can se here in the picture.,i am working in other kits ,this is ready to adjust some parts and work on the body panels and interior.i assembled all th car first to check any fit issues.,since these kitas are made in a rubber and silicone molds they tend to warp in the process of removing from molds

Hey guys I started this model a few months ago .,is a model factory hiro ferrari 801 .,this is an reissue limited to 70 kits ,they are still available to special order from hiro .,the original issue is entirely in white metal ,this one is in resin and white metal very soon i'll post the progress ,the chassis is already welded and painted

well model factory hiro has reissued the model again thats why i tell him to cotact hiro .,and i know the model was an old issue .,i have one .

The authority in ferraRi? good for him....excellent builder so far! just take a look this photo ,i obtained a replacement body WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM FROM HIRO.,SORRY IF YOU DONT HAVE THE SAME LUCK, IM JUST TRYING TO HELP HIM TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM ,NOT TO DISCUSS WHO IS THE AUTHORITY IN FERRARI!!!

Hi Guys!! This is my latest model kit .,i've been working on it for around two years and it took to me a lot of effort to build it all the chassis was welded ,filled ,sanded ,primed and painted with automotive paints.,Scalefinishes.com supplied the correct paints for the chassis and body .,i fabricated some scratchbuilt parts such as the instrument panel made from styrene and the screws are from Hobby design., This kit is a reissue of the original 1953 500f2 but in 1/20 scale from hiro.only 70 kits were made but you can get one by special order .The only difference is the resin body.,all those type of kits are very difficult to clean ,align and modify to fit well. here the chassis before i start to work with and this is the chassis complete ready to paint

Hi! My secret? easy.. Patience , lot of effort and the most important a good airbrush. just kidding ..lot of practice is the key.,and a good finish on the primer surface ,that helps very much. The type of paint is a good start.,Basecoats works great, automotive clear thin (urethane) and a good air pressure 40PSI on clears and 25PSI on basecoats i use IWATA eclipse and revolution airbrushes ., it works very well with automotive paints. thanks!

ok the car goes with aluminum headlight covers ,the headlights comes with the kit but i decided to put it inside because i dont want to let the headlight holes opened since the headlights can be seen under the fender.

Hi the 3m polish leave residues ,you can remove it with a toothbrush dipped in a mild solution of dish washing agent and plenty of water ,scrub lightly into the panel and door lines and wash the entire body and parts with clear water.
