hey guys here a little update for the formula 1 .,this time i work a little on the chassis .this chassis have a center part of wood "Jabroc wood " i replicated this wood with my airbrush .,first i masked the chassis after dried and painted the center with a little mix of white and brown to replicate the color of the wood then i traced a few lines with a red brown color to replicate the fibers of the wood ,i trace the lines with my airbrush and a little piece if styrene to draw the lines ,then i detailed the head bolts with the scalemotorsports detail parts.the jabroc wood was introduced in 1994 due to a new regulations on the cars to get the height of cars at a maximum clearance from the road due to the constant fireworks when the titanium braces touch the road .the jabroc wood has a 10mm of height, every car has a clearance of 1mm to down the height ,at the end of the race the car was inspected to see if the car ran below the 1 mm of height ,if the wood measurement was in less of 9mm of height the car was disqualified. i hope you enjoy

hi guys here a little update! .,well i worked on the front windshield frame.the kit comes with a "molded in" frame on winshield but looks tricky so i filled the resesed area on the body with a molded stripe of styrene and glued with thick glue "CA" and sanded to smooth the area, then i aligned the PE part from studio 27 and drilled every hole on the PE frame to add this rivets to replicate the real ones .around 6 hours to complete, its a little difficult part to make but with patience and a little time will look great! thanks!

HI BOYS,HERE A LITTLE UPDATE .TODAY I TAKE TIME TO TEST FIT THE ENGINE PARTS TO SEE WHERE IT NEEDS WORK SINCE THIS IS A RESIN ENGINE IT NEEDS A LITTLE CLEAN UP AND PARTS FIT FIX ,THE SIX CARB BASES AND CARBS NEED A LITTLE CLEANING AND SMOOTHING TO FIT CORRECTLY,I TAKE TIME MEASURING AND TESTING THE HOOD AND CARBS FUNNELS TO SEE IF THE FUNNELS TOUCH THE HOOD.THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT TESTINGS TO GIVE A VERY SHARP AND CLEAN ASSEMBLY ,THE BLOCK HAS A LITTLE FLASH OVER THE FRONT TIMING COVER AND OTHER AREAS LIKE THE CENTER OF THE BELLHOUSING ,SO I CLEANED CAREFULLY WITH AN EXACTO BLADE AND THEN SANDED THE PART WITH A 600 GRIT,AS YOU CAN SEE THE ENGINE ITS ALMOST READY TO TEST THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS AND PIPES .I OPENED THE FRONT AIR SCOOP TO ADD A CURVED GRILL FROM STUDIO27.,ITS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO FIT IT TO THE CURVED OPENING BUT WITH A LITTLE PATIENCE WILL WORK i hope you enjoy boys .,until next weekend!!

HI BOYS! HERE ANOTHER PROYECT THAT I STARTED A FEW DAYS IN MY WORK.I STARTED WITH THE ENGINE PLANT,THE HEADERS WERE PAINTED IN GLOSS BLACK LAQUER THEN PAINTED WITH SPAX TIX CHROME TO GIVE THAT METAL LOOK AND FINISHED WITH SMOKE CLEAR TO RECREATE THE HEAT AND STRESS IN THE PIPES,THE ENGINE WAS PAINTED IN MICA SILVER AND SEMIGLOSS BLACK REAR TAIL AND THE SPARK PLUG MAGNETOS WERE PAINTED WITH BRIGHT RED,THE EMBLEM IS A METAL TRANSFER THAT I TAKE BORROWED FROM ANOTHER FERRARI ,THE FRONT BODY PART WAS JOINED WITH A FEW PANELS THAT COMES IN HALVES AND WERE FIX IT TO THE BODY WITHOUT ANY SIGNS OF MOLD LINES AND FLASHES.I USE (CA GLUE )TO MAKE THIS JOINTS,I HOPE YOU ENJOY ! STAY TUNE ;)

HI EVERYONE ,HERE IS MY NEW PROYECT FOR 2009,HASEGAWA FERRARI 250 TR .I HAVE THIS KIT FOR AROUND 6 OR 7 MONTHS IN MY WORKBENCH TO BUILD IT AND NOW ITS THE MOMENT .THE KIT HAS A VERY FINE MOLDING FOLLOWED BY A WELL DETAILED INTERIOR AND CHASSIS.THE ENGINE IS GOOD BUT NOT COMPLETE SO I DECIDED TO REPLACE IT BY ONE WITH MORE ACCURACY AND BETTER LEVEL OF DETAIL .I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW ENGINE FROM HISTORIC RACING MINIATURES ,THE ENGINE COMES WITH EVERYTHING,IT COST AROUND 45 BUCKS .THE WHEELS ARE FROM KA MODELS AND THREE DETAIL SETS WERE ADDED.,ONE FROM KA MODELS,STUDIO 27 AND RENNAISANCE,I ALREADY ASSEMBLED THE WHEELS AND TIRES AND IM WORKING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TO FIT THE NEW ENGINE SINCE THE ENGINE HAS A LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN ALLIGMENT WITH THE ENGINE MOUNTS ,IT WILLL BE RELOCATED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS BUILD ,VERY SOON I POST MORE FROM THIS GREAT KIT,THANKS!!! <img src="http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
