  1. I didn't even know about them..thanks for that link....
  2. I think that Modelhaus has the parts you need.
  3. Not too much progress. Got the rear squared away so the frame extends where it needs to. Spent the past few nights geting the fenders to mate with the cahssis and started fixing the lump of a firewall that came in the kit...
  4. Started on the rear wheel wells tonight. Ended up going with a mini-tub style, as recreating the factory curve was too complicated to try, and this way I can stuff bigger tires under there. Didn't have any styrene thin enough to flex, so I figured I'd use aluminum like the real deal.....
  5. But it wouldn't be as much fun if I used a better chassis......seriously, I didn't even think of pulling one of my Revell Chargers out. Grabbed this one because I knew it would never be built...
  6. The Duke's cahrger frame is fitting fairly well, but the rear wheel wells are nonexistant. How would I go about creating a factory style wheel well???
  7. Seems like the slots are pulling ahead...of course, after i put this up I discover that they're 8 lug wheels!!!! Now I gotta find a set of five lugs....
  8. Thanks to the generosity of one of the board members(thanks again george 53) I have a 70 Super Bee to work on. Originally, I had planned to do a full cage and go all out race with it, but after it got here, I decided I couldn't wait to get on it. So, I dug out the old Dukes' Charger, and figured I'd see how well the two B body parts would work out. It's a tad small, but I think I can work with it. Can't decide if I'm going to use the Hemi out of the Duke's kit, or get a Ross Gibson for it, since I don't have any spare hemi's lying around. Wheels are the kicker. I can't decide which ones to go with. It's going to end up white with black Keith Marks "C" stripes. Let me know what ya'll think of the options. 1999 Lighting Keystone's Crager Slots Parts box Big-n-Littles OR do I try to score either a set of steelies or factory rallies????
  9. Thanks for the replies...I'm thinking to be on the safe side, I will clear it this wekend and polish that out, so I have a good surface for pulling the mold from. Thanks again!!
  10. So I just finished up the cowl hood for my first gen mustang, and want to make a few copies for other kits I have lying around. My question is, the hood is in primer, since that is the method I use for finding flaws, do I need to strip it of it's primer before I cast a mold? TIA, Keith
  11. And lastly for now, a convertable fox I started turning into a coupe last year.... Hope to help anybody out if I can, and look forward to talkin' to all of ya! Keith
  12. Next up is a 70 Boss 429 that has stalled due to me being too lazy to wire the motor... Here is another '65 that I started when my oldest daughter was about 2.....she's 14 now....really should finish this one day. Never have been happy with it and it's been torn apart more times than I can count...
  13. Figured I'd introduce myself and show a coupke wip's. First up is a '65 fastback that has been a WIP for about 4 years now. I'm about the slowest builder out there!
