Hi guys,
Long time lurker and just registred. Like most people here I built models as a kid, got back at it during college when a roomate introduced me to the wonderful world of Tamiya, started building again by doing my very own 1986 Toyota Celica, built up a stash and then ... life. Wife, house, kids, big jobs, real cars. Kids now all have driving licences so I should be able to get back to building! If my hobby car, a 1975 Triumph TR6, gives me some free time of course. I have fun stuff to build, most bought some time ago and probably worth a lot today (like RoG's 1:16 Karmann-Ghia).
I'm a civil engineer and a part-time automotive journalist. I review 20-25 cars per year for the Trader group up here in Canada. Most of my reviews are in French, but Google translate is there for you! I easily take 300-400 pics per car, so if my tests subjects make it to plastic, I'll be well equipped! A new car every Monday, it never gets old! (for me - not the wife ?).
Here's a sample of what my wife calls my "hobby" : https://www.autohebdo.net/expert/20191226/chevrolet-camaro-turbo-1lt-2019-essai-routier/
Hoping to get back at building my cars this winter, we'll see!
