  2. I have only used Future for my clear and to clean it I just use windex works great and you can thin it with windex check out my glass repair in the tips .
  3. I was at Michaels and picked these chain mailles up and they work great for my dash. have been trying to figure how to trim the dash on the Cord ...I am pretty happy with my find....Sizes are .08-.10

Just enough future to dip it in When you pull it out lay it on newspaper or paper towel so that it wicks off the extra future let it dry a couple minuites then place it on a clean spot so it doesn't stick to the paper And there we have it clear glass again and for my first time I am pretty inpressed myself and it's nothing to be intimidated with. And as always any question on how I did something just ask. cheers
  8. Well this is where I am at after just a little while polishing it out with the tooth paste and water, took me a bout 15 min. and Think it is really cleaning up pretty nice. This is what I started with Next will be the big tranformation

Here is the glass I am going to clean up it's out of the AMT 65 Galaxie Here is most of all that I will be using to do this and maybe I will learn something through this and maybe some of you will to, so if you want to help or ask questions feel free to pipe in . All different grits what I am going to try here is show that it can be done with what we would have around and not be afraid of trying it and I will be using tooth paste to polish it out giggle This is where i am at starting with a coarser grit and working down to wet sanding it.

  13. Just add phone wire casing then super glue wires in and add more casing on the end to go in to plug hole

  19. Just had to change that dash so this is where I am at with it. Before After Just sitting together now I have to figure how to trim it out.
  20. I love it, great build of a great car design and someday I have to get to this one I have had since the late 80s it's a 1:16 scale.

  22. Your scratch building is just second to none, just one question how many coats of alcalad do you use an what kind of wash do you use on it to bring out that true metal look...Thanks
