  1. This was given to me years back and has been sitting on my shelf since then. I knew what I wanted to do with it, but didn't have the time. Bought a SLA printer and went crazy printing parts.... Here we go... Early model grill, visor, bumper, ugly duck, triple airhorns, fenders, airtanks, 5th wheel, shifter, seats, double sleeper, drop axle, lowering rear springs, wheels and tires. Most of the parts came from Cults 3D, dud99 is the designer. I'm sure I'm not done yet!? I cut the frame and stretched it 130mm, started to box frame, cut the grill our on the hood. WIP... here's some picks.
  2. Revell Peterbilt 359 Been sitting on my shelf for a few years. Printed up some parts, stretched the frame 4¾"(130" scale). Now we'll see where it goes from here. Not sure if I like the raised roof on the sleeper.
  3. Working on the "Cal Drag Combo". Almost done with the Falcon, mocking up the Galaxie. Trailer done, with other build. I don't know if I want to stay with stock ride hight or put it in the weeds. Pics of all 3
  4. Yes. However I'm going to test different base colors. White, black, gold and silver. Get some spoon samples and go from there. I was also thinking, taking the tbird emblem off the roof and putting a oprah window there.
  5. Well...cut through the paint, still haven't sanded the dust. Off to the purple bath and take 2!
  6. Here's the paint. If I remember right, I bought it @ the 1997 Heartland Nationals. I had big plans for it back then. 27 years later, not dried out! Now I realize why I don't build 1/32 scale! The dust is like boulders!
  7. Picked another "Ollie's" deal, 1/32 1960 TThunderbird curbside. Don't know what I'm going to do yet, lowrider, or cartoons hotrod. Found some old paint(15-20 yrs) in the back of a drawer. It was jellied a little so I added reducer and let it fly. Over a white base. Here's the results, still have to sand & polish...
  8. New mockup, not sure which way to go. 1/32 '32 Ford coupe Suggestions?!
  9. Thanks. I stopped posting, didn't think anyone wanted to follow. Here's some progress pics.
  10. Nice builds! Funny I ran across this. A coworker and I were talking about Magnums. A body shop down the road from his place has a Magnum with a Hell Cat front clip. I told him I want to take a Magnum and put a 2011-2020 300 front clip and taillights on it. Wait for a newer 300 to be released as a kit. I have 7 Magnum kits up on the shelf waiting to be built!
  11. The first time I built this kit was back in the early 80s, back in high school. It was my first custom build. I built it as a "show mud truck with mad mudder suspension. Between the military and all the moves I've made in the past 40yrs, this is waths left of it.
  12. Picked up a few kits for $13 each, couldn't pass it up. Didn't know the direction I was going to go with it so I just laid it out on the bench. Was thinking 80s-90s mini truck. I designed some graphics, not what i was looking for. I frenched the license plate box and working on tubbing the bed. Might just glue the bed cover on and make it a curbside. This is as far as i got this weekend, will keep you up-to-date with pics. Enjoy!
  13. I bought these 15 - 20 years ago. I had a project I wanted to use them on, went a different direction. Now I have 2 projects I want to use them on. My Lil Galaxie Pruis has them on. Now I need a set for the Mini Cooper. Can anyone help? ( Wheels are off the Prius) Let's make a deal!
  14. HMCN was a great show this year, fantastic builds! Right before the awards were announced, the President of KC Slammers pulled a few contestants aside and handed out little bag to each of them. Resign LSX with a note. To follow next year's theme, "What the Heck?". We have to put this LSX in a vehicle that this motor would never be installed in and make it like the manufacturer designed it to fit (look like stock). Someone said, "A beetle?" Yes, something that wouldn't have a V8. So... after searching for something, I ran across this! Tamyia 1/24 1969 Morris Mini Cooper 1275S Mk1. The LSX might be a tight squeeze. You probably read all this in "Mock-up". Didn't want to post the build in there. So here we go with progress... Excuse the mess. ADD/ADHD... A lot of squirls(kits) surrounding me!

  16. Took it to the Heartland Model Car Nationals. in the "Small Scale" category. didn't place, however was a conversation piece. It is done! ENJOY!!
  17. Finally found time to work on the Prius and didn't take pics of the progress. Painted it twice. The first looked like an Easter egg and I'm pretty happy with the second. Need to sand & polish, black out the trim and get the lights installed.
  18. It's been awhile since I've been able to work on this lil jem. Too many real live projects, but I'm back on it. I watched a ytube vid, think it was DYC, DYP(??) or something like that. They threw powder pearls over a black base then clear coated it, and I knew that was it! Though I thought if it looked so good over black, why not white. It doesn't give it that "galaxy" look, as the black did. Well.... no! I'm going to mock it back up and take a good look at it for awhile. We'll see where we go from there. Enough of my bantering
