  1. So, I am taking the dio from the Autoscape kit and building my first "weathered" kit......37 Ford PU.......should be fun.
  2. I know I saw that prized Pony..................I'm a BIG time fan of the first Gone in 60 Sec........LOVE the big Pony's!!!!!!!!
  3. Thanks guys! It was fun working on the vert. I bought her from my Pop in 2002, put 185,000 miles on her and then bought another to drive so I could fix this one up. My daily driver, 85 coupe with a 4-banger in it.....I bolted on a tube header and a few other things but he needs a V8.....!
  4. Thanks guys! Your right Scott....I had to glue the doors shut and they still didn't fit just right. I also don't like the fact that you can see all the way trough behind the rear tires....LOL James460...........a buddy of mine had an 1970 AMC Javlin jacked just like this one back in high school 1983. He bought it from a moonshine runner in Kentucky. The 401 V8 in it was all hopped up as well, that thing was scary fast. Anyway, I'm glad when I bought this kit it came with that cool teardrop hood in resin. Had to make shocks that would fit the jacking up......LOL
  5. So I've been rebuilding my 88 vert in my driveway.....including paint........ http://smg.photobucket.com/user/webestang/slideshow/8TEE8%20Ragtop For the 50th B-Day party in Charlotte, NC ................................ Had a blast!!!!!!!!!! Put a total of 1664 miles on Sally....she ran perfect and got 24mpg. Slide show.......... http://smg.photobucket.com/user/webestang/...Mustang%20B-Day
  6. Oh boy......Nephew called me, he has a leak in his power steering......and he has no garage as well.......burrrrrrrrrrr
  7. Glad to hear they and the truck made it through that......! Ford got handed a class action suit against them for these TFI's in the around 1990. Starting with the 94 models all TFI's were fender mounted. I remember my Pop's 84 T-Bird used to not start. Same problem. He sold it before he found out about the TFI. If I were to clean and re-grease the back of the TFI every month I guess it would still work.....LOL
  8. Relocate kit works perfectly.....WOOHOO!!
  9. No rust.......means you will be buying a car that has spent it's whole life in dry climate......AZ. CA......etc. I'd use Hemming's over E-Bay any day, also pick up an issue of Old Cars Weekly to find cars. Look for one owners that have all records on the car.
  10. Boring..... Boring..... Better.....
  11. My 88 5.0 is stuck in primer but with a new top and carpet installed.....
  12. Oh yeah.....had to rebuild the carb too................
  13. I had to do that last winter on the exhaust, a hanger came loose......a good old sheet of plywood and a blanket......LOL
  14. Have not posted much lately....fixing a not so bright idea from Ford/Mazda.......in the 80's they used the dizzy for a heat sink for the ignition module (TFI).... So....my TFI module failed for the 2nd time in my 85 Mustang DD, got a relocate kit and a new one coming. Meantime I pulled the dizzy......cold work but at least the sun was out...... Someday I hope to have a garage.
  15. Thanks! Yes, I've sold many prints over the years. I love them printed on "metallic" paper. Super hi-gloss.....makes it look like metal. And now at work I can print on metal......cool stuff.

Thanks again guys....! I'm a self taught Photoshop'er. One of the things I used to teach myself was "Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Photographers" by Martin Evening (I've upgraded his book each time I upgraded PS, I started with PS-5).
  17. Fantastic builds! Love all 3................
