  7. started with the motormax die cast
  8. thats cool. i like it this way, dont see many built like this,,,if any

  10. i have used the dupli-color mirage paint on 2 and a half models (started on but havent finished yet) and it works good. it comes in a pack of 3 (base coat, color coat, and clear coat. and is easy to use
  11. original trunk floor and a mock up of what its gonna look like. he aint got a fuel sell yet but he's plannin on gettin one with tax returns and a quick mock up pic i took for him. body is still not painted yet. its painted silver now,but will be primer grey to match his paint better. his is rustoleum smoke grey
  12. got some updates. not much but its some. got the front and rear suspension painted up. rear axle is grey hammer finish and the sway bars and rear springs are yellow. this is the rear sway bar/trailing arms, fire extinguser, and race rear view mirror motor mock up. motor is red and the intake is painted aluminium and the tranny is painted with grey hammerfinish. still gotta paint the oil pan (might modify it they way he is doin the real one) and i gotta add belts/pulleys w/ assorted items, add plug wires with distributor, add fuel line, and custom build a air cleaner box found a pair or racing seats, still gotta paint the belts
  13. i gotta go with real on this one
  14. its a street car. me n my dad helped him put the 455 in and it wasnt to easy but do-able. he had to order motor mounts, make a tranny crossmember and dent the headers to fit the power steering and whatnot
  15. dont get me wrong i do respect the enginering and everything into em but its just not my thing, and i didnt say it was better then nascar, actually i dont like either. nascar has to many rules, after every crash they make up a new rule so it cant happen,,,its rather boring now, hell bristol aint even good anymore. i like big rims and lowriders (lowriders being my favorite) but i respect the work it takes on any custom
  16. those they only 4 they make so far??
  17. i still dont get the fun i drag racing, one WOOT down the track and your done, all that power and money for a few short blasts, you cant turn with the pizza cutter wheels on the front without worrying about em flopping in half on ya. cant drive it on the street without getting pulled over, and you cant go around corners fast, all that power wants to go stright,,,but thats just me, to each his (or her) own i guess
  18. saweeet. i wanna see this one done
  19. whats the purpose of having big ass drag slicks and a big ass motor to go down a 1/4 mile track in a few seconds,,,that you cant even drive on the road??
  20. saweeeet!! love the rims/tires and the 1/4 window louvers
  21. very nice! i gotta get me one of those kits when i can find em. IFRC is that a snap kit?
