  1. I am planning on building a 68' Firebird convertible so I have been going thru this thread with great interest. Question: Did you custom make the hood hinges, or did they come from a donor kit?
  2. Does anyone cast 1/25 GM rear ends (10 or 12 bolt)?
  3. Looking for input regarding when to apply panel line "ink". Specifically should it be applied before the clear coat, or after?
  4. Wondering what the general consensus is regarding "out of the kit" chrome parts. For example bumpers. Do people leave the "kit" chrome on them, or do they strip the part down and then "re-chrome" it with one or more methods?
  5. Bainford - thanks for the feedback. This might be the one (or close to it).
  6. Boss - thanks for the feedback, but the one I am looking for was definitely not a midget racer.
  7. Can Con - thanks for the feedback. I actually had this model as well, but this is not the one I am trying to find.
  8. Dave - thanks for the feedback, but this is not the one I am looking for.
  9. Stitchdup - Thanks for the feedback. Never heard of scalemates before, but now that I know of them I will give them a look.
  10. Richard - thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately this is not the one. The model I am looking for is one that required cement (and paint) and was definitely not a beginners model.
  11. Probably a long shot but here goes: Looking for a car model I had as a kid. Time frame would be late 60s to early/mid 70s. Model kit was of what I believe was a 60s era indy car. Something like a 65 lotus. Plastic model. Picture on the box was of a red car and I believe the body inside was red as well. Pretty good sized model, so I am guessing 1:18 scale or larger. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.
