  1. Hey everybody, For security purposes, the moderator removed my address and e-mail. Thank You, I didn't even consider that. So if anyone had any stickers for me Contact me by private message for my address. Thanx again!
  2. Hello Everyone, I have a strange request. Today I re-arranged my workbench. The BACK of my Kobalt 5 drawer tool box is now prominently displayed. I was wondering if any of you kind souls had some modeling, Hot Rod , or automotive stickers that I could use to dress it up. If you have any and can spare the 70 cents postage please send em' my way. I'll post a pic when I get it all dressed up! Thanx in advance. Tracy Bales
  3. Hello everyone. I'm currently struggling my way through the Takom 1/16 scale army jeep. I'm putting my own spin on it by not building it military style. I was wondering if anyone can help with what color to paint the tires. (they're gray plastic like everything else in this kit.) Flat black just don't look realistic. Any help with a make/color or even a make/color/mix would be most helpful. Thanks, Tracy
  4. Hello everyone. Kudos to my wife for coming up with this. I know this is a car model website and that's what I usually build. But I recently pulled the trigger and bought Tamiya's 1/32 Vaught Corsair. It's my first plane, wish me luck. I was getting mighty frustrated searching through the trees for the part I needed as I was keeping them in the box. My wife suggested I buy a small hanging file box along with a package of hanging file folders. Each file was labeled with a letter corresponding to a parts tree. The file folders hold them safely off the bottom of the file box and prevents the parts from getting tangled up. The picture shows what a wonderfully simple solution it is. I'm sure it would work for any type of model. Let me know by posting replies if you think this would work for you. Thanx, Tracer
  5. Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have had any issues with Rust-oleum Painters Touch 2X Ultra cover? This evening I painted the hood of Moebius Ford F-250 snow plow truck. I put it in my Micro Mark drying oven for about an hour. When I removed it, not only was it still VERY tacky, it had glossy and dull areas on the exterior. It was dull over the areas that were stamped on the bottom to simulate the insulation. I've never had much luck with Rust-oleum spray bombs. They never seem to dry completely. I live in the Cincinnati area and I've been to local hardware stores and even the big box stores and no one seems to have Krylon anymore. Did they go out of business? Any help will be much appreciated! Tracer

  7. Has ANYONE tried to build this kit. It boggles my mind how anybody on the YouTube sites can rave about this kit! The sprue connections require MAJOR cleanup. And the front suspension is WAY too complicated for a static model. I'm about 5 seconds away from placing it all back in the box and STOMPING the box. I now know why I HATE military kits!!!!!!!
  8. Does anyone know of a 1/25 scale kit (other than the Trumpeter Nova) that has a decent Chevrolet straight six. I tried the one out of the 50s era chevy truck but it's WAY to big for the 57 Chevy 110 sedan. Any help you;ld be much appreciated. Even the name of an aftermarket vendor would be great!
