  1. Hello all, I was wondering if any of you have had any issues with Rust-oleum Painters Touch 2X Ultra cover? This evening I painted the hood of Moebius Ford F-250 snow plow truck. I put it in my Micro Mark drying oven for about an hour. When I removed it, not only was it still VERY tacky, it had glossy and dull areas on the exterior. It was dull over the areas that were stamped on the bottom to simulate the insulation. I've never had much luck with Rust-oleum spray bombs. They never seem to dry completely. I live in the Cincinnati area and I've been to local hardware stores and even the big box stores and no one seems to have Krylon anymore. Did they go out of business? Any help will be much appreciated! Tracer

  3. Hello Everyone! I was digging through my stash of kits and came across AMT's 1/16 scale Nomad. Looking for a fairly easy quick build I opened it up. Much to my surprise I had already started it! I guess my 62 year old memory truly isn't what it used to be. I laid out the completed assemblies (engine and so forth) when much to my horror I found there were no instructions in the box! I've searched my model dungeon from top to bottom. I've found other kit instructions I had placed in a nice file folder but none for the Nomad. So I was hoping one of you kind souls might have these instructions for a previous or upcoming build and be able to scan them and e-mail them, perhaps as a PDF file? I would truly appreciate it. 4. Has ANYONE tried to build this kit. It boggles my mind how anybody on the YouTube sites can rave about this kit! The sprue connections require MAJOR cleanup. And the front suspension is WAY too complicated for a static model. I'm about 5 seconds away from placing it all back in the box and STOMPING the box. I now know why I HATE military kits!!!!!!!
  5. Does anyone know of a 1/25 scale kit (other than the Trumpeter Nova) that has a decent Chevrolet straight six. I tried the one out of the 50s era chevy truck but it's WAY to big for the 57 Chevy 110 sedan. Any help you;ld be much appreciated. Even the name of an aftermarket vendor would be great!
