  1. It was originally just a photo backdrop, that morphed into this (thanks to Walmart having the shop kits)
  2. I probably should have arrived a bit earlier. Got there around 10:15. Very easy to find, friendly folks for sure (several familiar faces too!). Here's a pic of my haul. I picked up a flyer for next year.
  3. Home of NASCAR ? Are you located in N.C.? Me too! Kernersville
  4. Home of NASCAR ? Are you located in N.C.?
  5. I'm originally from Ohio, been living in NC since '99. I started building around age 9 or 10 (just turned 56). My main interest is 1/24-1/25th scale muscle cars & classics, but I'll tackle other things now and then (just built my 1st diorama). I'll be posting pics of my builds soon. Also won my 1st award last fall, a second place!
  6. Definitely getting a couple Sodbuster kits. I love the detail of the Nova wagon "Craftsman Series" kit, even without an engine, it's a great kit (although it should be cheaper due to this).
  7. Lindbergh released a Chrysler minivan kit awhile back. Ollie's had them
  8. Oh, I see. Like Cheyenne vs Scottsdale, etc
  9. Yeah, I'm aware of that. I didn't realize kitbashing was the intent. Was just suggesting current long bed kits still available.
  10. The Plow Truck and Big Game kits are both regular cab long bed
  11. 82 had 4 headlights in the grille. 81 had 2 headlights at the top, and slots under them
  12. Thanks buddy. I emailed the event coordinator, and got all the info. You don't have any entry forms, do you?
  13. It seems crazy that there's nothing going on in February. The next one that I've found, is the MDA event in Roanoke on 03/04/23.
  14. Anything in N.C. before this one?
