  1. Ahhh, yes. There would be a furry hat and a cane if it were a pimp convention. My bad.
  2. Here's the important one. Apparently there was a pimp convention in town as well......
  3. DMCC APRIL Very funny, George. Thanks for picking up my Ford from Jeff. It's ALREADY in the Wesley's Bleche Wite.
  4. Dearborn Ice Skating Center Upper Room 14900 Ford Road Dearborn 7 to 9 pm Guests/visitors welcome
  5. He's in my club, so I know Jeff is pulling some this week for NNL East, so once he's back i'm sure he can get more done. There's one on the 'Bay right now.
  6. This stuff SAFE over Testors New One Coat Lacquers ?
  7. Tom. I want to have a finish like on your Orange Merc. Howjadoit ??? Anybody else is also encouraged to reply. Question #2. Can/has anybody tried to 'flatten' Testors New Lacquers?
  8. Cool with me. Leave it as is and use your discretion.
  9. Picked out the color for it this morning. New Testors Lacquer 'Bronze' with off white bumpers/grille. C'mon George (& Jeff especially !!!)
  10. Pretty cool, Drew. Nice find. Build another one for yourself once you finish MINE, Mark.
  11. The decal maker and I worked from old speedway pics. This driver was my favorite growing up. I'll have at least 2 more for this driver. Mike Fasig from Fasig Graphics did the work. Yes he does requests. You provide him as much reference as you can.
  12. That's it for tonight. More in the morning.
  13. Mike Fasig from Fasig Graphics. ALPS guy. We did a sheet of 3 cars for this driver. My favorite driver growing up. Contingencies are on..... some are 'faked', but it'll look OK from a distance.
  14. AMT 69 Chevelle. AMT Saturday Night Special Chevelle guts. Decals by Fasig Graphics Flat Chevelle resin hood from Steve Milberry.
  15. I'll be listing this week. Made 3 purchases over the past month on EMODELCARS.
  16. I'll be doing a chromed out more formal if the Mercury conversion appears. The Ford will be a mild custom/era street machine.
  17. I know.......I'm just hoping the non-modeling will eventually go away........as the 'thug drama' has. It's not MY Forum. I'm just trying to help the flow of communication. IF it were mine, i'd be deleting NON-MODELING. As stated previously by someone, perhaps even by yourself, OTHER Forums either have a 'Off Topic Chatter' and/or NO off topic stuff at all. As a moderator I will NOT avoid if we get an 'Off Topic' tab/section, but the option for the masses to do so is a nice option.
  18. Yeah, I think that's what I meant. Let's PLEASE use 'General' for non-modeling, and PLEASE use the specific categories for the modeling that is applicable. I think I worded things wrong originally now that I see responses. "I like ice cream" SHOULD be a 'General' topic......I just hate to see decent MODELING topics get buried in 'General'. MAYBE moving 'General' to a lower category will represent the MODELING categories better and guys will use them rather than the catch-all 'General' ??
