  1. my 41 buick sedan delivery was a bash of my resin 41 buick coupe and my resin 41 chevy sedan delivery. i seen a 46-8 chevy at grand nat show 3 or so years back. they took a car body and a sedan deli body and made panel fit the car body. mad for a more proportioned door on the panel. i had the buick and thought i try a buick instead, looks even more elegant i was thinking. the whole under body is a 41 ford woody i made up when i worked on the other 2 buicks. built 8/29/25 thanx for lookin, glen
  2. 48 ford convertible that has been shortened in quarter and had rear deck closed up to make it a single bench seat, with chopped conv roof. everything under the body is a parts car thunderbolt, framed shortened to fit wheels in wells. built 8/18/ 25 was a in and out of the box project.
  3. this is a kit bash of my chopped version of my 41 chevy coupe with a 37 ford bed i believe. the entire chassis and engine is from the 39 wagon rod. interior tub was 50 chevy with a hump in floor and 59 chevy dash. 50 chevy was the back of the new cab also. i carried the side profile of the coupe through the rear widened fenders to the narrower 37 ford bed. i wanted to use the wagon rod with its wider rear tires also. i wanted a closed cab pickup like a pic of a orange real one i had saved. built 7/8/25 thanx
  4. this is a kit bash of the chopped version of the 48 ford coupe and a 50 ford pickup kit. i wanted a closed cab pickup. i had to make the frame a little longer to line up the the wheels in wells. some tweeking to get it lower, and decided to use the 50 hood. built 7/1/25
  5. built my 57 buick panel wagon, used a 55 chevy nomad as donor kit. made interior tub and chassis 1/2 longer. when i went to finish up and put the chassis under the body, SURPRISE! ended up being alot of cutting on top of chassis plate to get the back down for an even stance. (top of tunnel and top of shock floor) it looked like some of our cars in the 70s with the rear ready to shooting off for space. i ended up putting heavy duty springs on front to bring my 73 comino up even with the (stock air shocks raised for my 60s) rear, i liked the just enough raise for tires and front up to even out. oh ya 57 buick, i decided slight wider tire all around black walls on this one. enjoy built 5/15/25 thanx glen damodelguy
  6. built my 51 pontiac fastback chopped, used 51 chevy fleetline for donor kit. had to do some mods here and there, frame longer. i know some use 50 olds, hear it little longer, but we use what we have if we can. built 5/11/25 thanx glen damodelguy
  7. so i finally built and finished my 51 chevy coupe finally , decided to go gasser from the get go. motor and rear tires from a garlits dragster kit. i made good use of that kit tommy, thanx. guess sometimes i feel high, but some times, low. thanx for lookin, glen damodelguy 5/3/25 build #622
  8. well i finished building another of my own castings yesterday. 49 ford ute. i did a lot to make this one happen since it was originally a fiberglass body and front of it was brittle. i also found out that i couldnt superglue fiberglass to a plastic body. ended up coating it all with smear of resin to make halfs stay together. then i put a ranger bed inside. i used the 49 for kit under it. build #621 got body 5/9/24 10.00 built 4/24/25 thanx glen damodelguy
  9. this is my 2nd 41 buick finished next day, carson topped. all under body is 41 ford woody kit donor made to fit. thanx again glen see other listing for more building info.
  10. my 41 buick body recreation, into a chopped coupe. my resin bodies involve your creativity also in finding chassis, interiors, oh and dont forget, fitting windows. i built my 41 buick with a 41 ford woody donor kit. (you my think of a different donor) chassis was lengthened 1/4 back at the rear end area of the frame. it has a second piece of the x frame so it can be used for strength. i also moved the rear back a little to sit in the skirt area a little nicer, and also to lower its stance. i also cut the front axle to move it forward a little, also to lower it. i used the kit pipes but changed the mufflers to make up the added frame lenght. used kit interior, with side panels trimed to fit. hood is solid so i put the kits motor in it. im not as much of a detail person as many are. i built for collection shelf presentation, try to get the parts in place, but not wired, tubed, or even colored up. cant be seen, and wont be judged. im about different, and helping to show you can work outside the box, BOXES i say. tidbit, fellow model buddy, tom w, suggested grinding out from back to put the grille in this body. it worked very well. thanx Tom, im building 3 of these bodies, 1 is a 3rd reconstruction not yet finished to mold yet. so i was working on 3 complete chassis at same time, for the 3 builds and thanx for lookin glen
  11. the color is camel yellow, with several coats of translucent yellow over it. thanx all
  12. this is my body, 50 olds custom sedan, more of an ole bone feel and look. has the custom merc roof on it. thanx for lookin, damodelguy
  13. thanx guys, its a 57 thunderbird wagon
  14. i finished building my created body of my look, 41 ford chopped. i was trying to maintain the original roof line and back window. i chopped the A B pilars, but dropped the trunk line t about even with the rear fenders. this body i used the 48 ford kit and lowered suspension some th get tires into the wells. i also used the lovered hood from 48 and altered back corners to meet the cowl correctly. built 2/5/25 thanx
