Update, I forgot to add the chrome around the grill. Had to do it after the body was on the chassis. I was thinking of leaving it off, but it looked bad. I still need to touch up a spot or two. Painting the bumpers today, going to use SMS.

This is my first WIP post. The Mustang is fairly well along, so this is in the middle of the build. The interior and engine bay are complete. Had to add the GT steering wheel with Cobra decal, the grab straps on the doors and correct the inside door handles. Of course the pin head shifter was added. Added a few details to the engine, but haven’t yet located an air cleaner.

Hello all, new to the group and hope I can be an asset. I do have a question. I just painted a 1966 Fairlane with MCW lacquer. I wish to add a clear coat, but I need to wet sand first. Is there a time period that you can put the clear on. I know when using Tamiya ts paint, the color needs to cure for a week because of the different formula of their clear. I will be sanding tomorrow (24 hours after color) Can I clear it then?
