  1. Photos of my AMT 1966 Buick Wildcat taken on a nice sunny day. Paint is Tamiya Maroon. This is a 1980s reissue of this model car.
  2. Thank you everyone for the compliment! The paint is Burnished Copper Metallic finished with a coat of SprayMax 2K clear coat.
  3. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  4. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
  5. AMT 1964 Mercury Marauder R Code 427 that I completed in 2022.
  6. AMT 1965 Lincoln Continental that I built last summer.
  7. 1964 Lincoln Continental in Fiesta Red that I restored last year. It was originally brush painted in blue decades ago by its original owner and looked rough. The windshield was scratched and the interior was dirty. I dismantled, sanded the body to make it smooth, but did not strip the whole old paint. Detailed a lot of areas and polished the rest. Got rid of the custom centre console. Ideally it should have front bench seats, but I guess those are custom bucket seats from when the kit was new. Gave the seats some felt backs to add a sense of luxury. I might replace the custom bucket seats with original bench seats in future when I get my hands on one.

  15. 1964 Ford Galaxie 500-XL curbside kit from AMT that I repainted and detailed two years ago.
  16. My 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner that I restored two years ago. The original hood was missing so I made one with sheet styrene. Not perfect but better than no hood at all. I'll eventually replace it with the actual hood from the annual kit when I find one.
  17. 1962 Buick Electra 225 in Cardinal Red that I completed a few years ago. Rockers are Bare Metal Foil and the rest of the brightwork done with Molotow chrome pen. This is a newly made Round 2 reproduction of a AMT kit from the 1960s. I like these classic sixties kits with free rolling wheels. The chassis was entirely spray painted in this car, and I used masking tape to do one component at a time. This is also one of those rare occasion where I didn't get paint bleed on the chassis.
  18. Moebius 1961 Pontiac Catalina that I built a few years ago.
  19. Restored in spring 2023. This '61 Ford was brush painted in dark blue & purple by its original owner six decades ago. The old paint was quite wavy everywhere. I dismantled and sanded the body to make it smooth, and repainted with Tamiya Coral Blue TS-41 spray paint. The wheels show signs of melting in places. Maybe the plastic they used in the 60s was bad or they reacted with the rubber. Might replace them in future, but I kept the original wheels to show how old this model is.
  20. This is a vintage model from '61 that was brush painted by the original owner six decades ago. I took it apart and restored it. Painted with Tamiya Coral Blue TS-41 spray paint.
  21. This is a restoration of an original dealership promotional model from 1959. The chassis, interior, and rear bumper are from the original promo model by SMP of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, USA. The body, glass, and front bumper are reproductions by Round2 made in China. Side mirrors and dual antennas were taken from another model car kit. The tail-lights were made with epoxy. Scratch built side glass and rear view mirror mounted to the dash. Some pics shows the original promo model. I still have the body and can use it as practice to see if I can heat and straighten it, but that thing being made from acetate means it will warp again over time.
  22. Thank you everyone for the compliment! The funny thing is the rain started shortly after I placed the car to take the photos, so that was unexpected. I guess it's good how everything turned out.
  23. Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated! Diolex sells these resin '77 Tbird kits on ebay if anyone else is interested in building one.
  24. New photos of a completed model. Revell 1956 Chevrolet Nomad in Sherwood Green and India Ivory.
  25. Monogram 1934 Duesenberg SJ Roadster that was completed few months ago. This is a vintage kit from 1976 when the actual car was only 42 years old.
