That shiny red body is just out of the box. It's about to have the USCP arches fitted... -

Tamiya Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA x 2
YellowHound replied to YellowHound's topic in WIP: Model Cars
There's actually quite a lot of hours represented in these two images, but in reality very little to show for it (except progress!). I'm not suddenly building three kits though. I wasn't happy with the race car body with the Scale Production wheel arches. I'm not giving up on it but wasn't happy, so I ordered another Tamiya kit. I was also going to order another set of Scale Production arches but just as I was contemplating what to do Ukrainian Scale Cars Production launched their own flared wheel arches. My set of these arrived today and I think I'm going to be much happier with these, though I have filed the rivet nodules off. Both engine bays have a lot of aftermarket parts but I'm struck by how unrealistic the kit exhaust manifold is, so I'm going to attempt to build my own, which of course sends me down another rabbit hole.... -

Can't get this 787B out of my head. I've been looking for further news but have found nothing. Does anyone have an inside line on it? -

Another WIP. I'm building two of these. One will be my take on my perfect road car, the other will be a race car using Scale Production's transkit. Both will be Ferrari Tour de France Blu. Currently struggling to get the wheel arch extensions blended in to my satisfaction on the race car. I need to increase the thickness of the 'filler' I am using by reprofiling the arch extension (a little). At one point I was ready to throw this body in the bin. I may still buy another kit and another set of wheel arch extensions as I have made a few errors on this body that I need to see if I can blend out. Got a few detail parts to incorporate.

I realised after posting the question that it wasn't a Staintune exhaust. D'oh! The Staintune sounds amazing - but it is pricey. Miss my VFR (though the fuelling was rubbish!).
