Here is my inspiration for this build Ok guys I am starting this one. I am using the Jurrasic Attack monster truck kit as a donor. I decided to go with a stock 53 Studebaker body as the wheel base is already short enough as it is with out have to extend the altered wheel base Miss Deal body. This is going to be a very basic kit. Not too much detailing going on here. Just trying to get the swing of customizing things. First off is the body, I had to cut the inner wheel wells out, I opened the drivers side door, those who actually watch Monster Jam know that Grave Digger has an opening driver's side door, and I opened the trunk and notched it to fit on the chassis. The door and trunk will be hinged. Havent decided on paint yet. Will try to place an order from testors here soon (if the wife lets me) to get some supplies. The chassis will be black with a few silver items here and there. I will edit this post as soon as I get the pictures uploaded when I get home from duty tomorrow. Yay. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..........so tired, but hearing noises, so no sleep. Ok time to hit the tab key then enter.

I don't really have this problem because I only have 3 models displayed though my house. The Avanti Raul built, the Camaro, and Chevrolet 3500 that I built. And suprisingly they are in the living room!!! But I usually show people the Avanti, and I (!) show them that the doors and hood opens. Then I put it away.

Remember Kevin, alot of these guys are alot older than you and me, so they know what the car is suppose to look like. They are just that anal retentave to notice a mis-shaped roof or the wrong year roof on a different year car. Myself, I don't really care what color things have to be, I will do it the way I want to. If its not "correct" then oh well. I am glad I dont know that much about cars, cause my military nature of wanting everything done right the first time would bug the bejesus out of me.

How are you gonna do the hood? front flip, side flip? back flip. WEEEEEEEE.....ok I'm done. I think.

Ok I got this kit from Raul Perez a while back and decided to try it out. My question is, how would I do the paint? The transition from purple to yellow? I got these 2 kits off of eBay not too long after getting the kit, If you look closely you can tell where they taped off under the decals. I want to try not to have that. This is the team mate to this one. It looks worse than the other one. So how would I do this?

Ok guys like I said in Sept I worked on it a little and this is what I got, I found both of these on the side of the road, gotta love the military, they throw everything away. the cabinet is a work in progress, I got a lamp fixture to go into it and hopefully I will have some gift cards from Lowes or Home Depot to get some other parts. I still got some work to do on it, hopefully I can get it done soon
