I agree.

I feel sorry for all NASCAR builders, I have a few kits myself as I like to build all kinds of kits, but to say that lot of the guys are bashing the builders is just way out of left field. All I saw was them bashing NASCAR itself and that since Revell has dropped the kits, because NASCAR is too cheap to keep the price down, that they woud have some new releases coming out. Thats all I got to say about that. I am glad I got the decals to the ones I want to build , however I still need a few more kits to go with them.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Yes the color is bright. Sorry plumnuts I just couldn't cut a kit that was going together so smoothly. Ok guys this thing is rounding the final turn. Should have it done by the weekend hopefully. Been doing a little here and there so its getting together slowly. All thats left is components under the hood and a little bit of detailing. Hopefully I can use a sharpie to do the black trim.

Sorry I just had to do it, but the one on the right was built by Raul Perez as a gift. And you and I see eye to eye about studes, and you would like my father-in-law. I just wish they made more Stude models, like a truck maybe....

I guess I havent really been building that long to have a unicorn I guess. Well, its never just one kit, mess up the paint on one, break a needed part on the other. And plus I havent built the from the many companies that there were/is. I have only built AMT and Revell with a few Linberg kits in there some where. But to show that it can be done.

Today I got a nicely built 1953 Studebaker Starliner Salt flat racer built by my good friend Curt Raitz as a, I guess Christmas Gift. Thanks Curt!!!

Yeah I like the work Hummers better too, but the bling ones have their own look to them. David likes any model that I pull down to work on, he always points at the box and says, "duck" (truck), and then "hank you" (thank you) with his hand reached out for it. He actually got a hold of my dragster build off entry a few months back. Pieces everywhere. Would make a grown man cry. Anyway back to the topic, thanks for all the comments on the truck and the kid. I haven't put one under glass in a while so I thought I would show this one. Started out with a snap kit Swapped the skinny tires with some BF Goodrich Bajas from the parts box Had some rattle can GTS Blue Pearl Laquer and some clear. The top is done in flat black. And the finished product. Enjoy,

I would leave it in the case for display purposes, but its yours and if you want to take it out and play with it by all means. Just wipe off the finger prints after you are done.
