Managed to finish the "worst" part of decal works - these red/black strips and tail light stickers. Bottom skirting of the body is black with only СF part around the exhaust same as original. There is also yellow strip on the bottom of the skirt.

Slow progress so far. Small parts are preped and painted.

I have some progress today. Tested the windshield - all looks quite acceptable. I have done some extra polishing around wind edges to make make them sit even. The body is painted from inside. The threshold is painted black (for this car it is black but not CF). Continued assembling the cage on the floor with some heat reflecting foil.

Thank you! Tamiya standard yellow spray TS-16 on top of the white primer works perfect for this Penske car.

Have the floor painted and pre-assembled back part of the cage. Looking for СF decals. Those from Cartograph are out of stock 😞

The paint of the base yellow is finished with no significant inperfections.

I have started from body sanding and engaving of the panel lines. Then opened several holes for radiator intake, cooling of the brakes, exhausts and hood grills.

The kit looks great as usual, I expect to spend some joyful time with it.

This new Slavinos JR kit is to replicate Joey Logano 2024 Ford Mustang Phoenix race. Curbside model is planned to be built.

Hello mates! I have started my another project of Joey Logano #22 NASCAR CUP Champion 2022, Penske Ford Mustang. Having started several months ago, I have managed to complete the body including polishing. Next will be the chassis.
