Time for the update. Happy to have it on the wheels. I have produced less details as before cause it will be covered with the body cowling. I plan to keep both hoods open to expose the engine bay and the fuel tank area.

Thank you so much, Mark. Will really appreciate if you share the way you managed to put the body! I should admit that the kit is quite precise to have it placed on top of the floor plate without any gaps under the condition that the floor is properly glued to the cage. The only gaps you unavoidably have are on both sides of the floor where it attached to the body at the jack spot places. But these are hidden when the model is exposed on the wheels or the jacks. I have no issues with this and can dismantle the body at any time. This time I will do the model with wheels attached. Will see how it appears 🙂

Thank you for your comment. Quite happy working on this project - a lot of opportunities to develop the parts at their maximum detail. Can't wait to get to "marriage" with the body. Still a lot of interior works remain.

With this topic I'd like to start another Salvinos JR project. This time it'll be Austin version of Joey Logano Penske Ford Mustang 2023 season. Happy with body fitment test. Still long journey ahead.

Hello Mates! Happy NY everybody! Wishing you a prosperous year with a lot of models built 🙂 Here we have #22: Joey Logano, Team Penske, Shell Pennzoil Ford Mustang, NASCAR Cup 2023, Daytona 500 finished. Now I can call it done and the project closed. Great kit, a lot of fun, happy with outcome considering this is my first experience with stock car models. Hope you’ll enjoy it.

Happy NY! So, satisfied to have it done this year. It was a lot of fun to build this kit. 3x NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano, wheelman of the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang for Team Penske 2023 Daytona race. Next will be same kit and same model for Austin race. I will do more pics shortly.
