  1. Chassis is ready. I have closed the cage, installed the mirror and windshield protector. Rear suspension is also assembled.
  2. Hello Mike. I don't know whether it is allowed to post the links. You can find these decals following the name: NASCAR DECAL 2019 & UP MODERN NASCAR GOODIES DETAIL SHEET 1/24-1/25
  3. Yes, I compared this modified one with just painted and there was no significant difference. I will use unmodified and just painted version.
  4. Shock absorbers produced by ÖHLINS wıth reference pıcture assembled in front suspension 😉
  5. Thank you so much Bruce. Plan not to put body on top of this version. Will carbon fiber the body from inside and expose it separately from the chassis. Like a small diorama or similar. But still there is a way to go... Nevertheless I will do my best to place the body evenly above the chassis to make sure it fits correct position. Great challenge for this build 🙂
  6. Thank you! Shock absorbers are on the way and front suspension!
  7. Next update on the progress. Added some air ducts, engine details and electronic
  8. Thank you John, - yeah it would be FUN 🙂 but I prefer to put his 2024 Cup there instead. Even the car is of 2023 season LOL. Wondering whether there is any scale model of the NASCAR CUP, mmm... For the decals I have also appreciated very much Penske designers put the PENNZOIL logo above the grills (only bottom edge slightly trims them - anyway, not a big deal).
  9. Today update of some electronic, dashboard, Koolbox unit and extinguishers.
  10. Oh year, I am also his fan! 🙂 Was great championship win this year wasn't it? 22 in 24 😉 For the hood I used tamiya 0,2 mm scriber to cut the grills and open the vents. The plastic from the kit is quite soft and easy to cut.
  11. Thank you so much for your comment, sir! As far as I can see, the main cage of the frame is made of square tubing for Nextgen cars (appeared since 2022) while secondary bars in the cockpit and chassis are round shaped. Slavinos JR has introduced great job designing this kit replicating the cage details very close to original. I will drop here several reference photos from Nextgen car presentation reflecting how the entire tubing is organized:
  12. ... and the overall progress as of today
  13. I have tried to replicate ECU block
  14. Oh, thanks a lot - appreciate this! Yes, the carbon fiber was a bit of long exercise but the final outcome worth it. Hoses lettering were pre-printed by the manufacturer, so I only used pipes heating to settle the wires. There are also a lot of other marking up and brand logos which are from nascar decal 2019 & up modern nascar goodies detail sheet.
  15. Here is the painful exercise with radiator box and engine air intake system. Some carbon fiber work and installation check.
  16. Pedals block detail
  17. Thank you John, it is on the track. Hope to get this done before NY.
  18. Thank you so much Brian. The more will come. I used Aluminum adhesive foil from Hiro model factory .
  19. Decals were applied accordingly. Also added the radiator mesh cutting out the opening in the body:
  20. Painted body (another one will be Austin version)
  21. Some details of body work: 1. Opened the grill gaps molded in the hood as solid piece 2. Grill itself is cut out of the hood 3. Scribing work
  22. Hello mates! My current build is Salvinos JR Joey Logano #22 Penske Ford Mustang. This is Daytona version. Managed to finish the body so far and some interior and chassis work. IMG_8552.MOV
