First build in over 20 years. I chose a 71 Hemi Cuda because my buddy Wes Cree had one. I tried to make it look like his as much as I could with the tooling issues of the model. Overall im pretty happy with it. I used this build to also learn new things like using foil for the window trim and other areas...wet sand and buffing... and trying to pay more attention to detail. I have a couple things to finish yet but for the most part its done. His Cuda had a small cheap chrome mirror so im going to wait and see if one comes in a another kit I can use. Only issue I really had was the paint on the grille piece didnt wanna dry all the way and stayed tacky. I painted it at the same time as other pieces that I also washed off at the same time so not sure what that was about. On to the next one.

Just did my first build in over 20 years. needed a new hobby so thought it was time to revisit an old one. Back in late 90's early 2000's I bought several Revell AAR Cuda models and a couple T/A Challengers with the thought of building the factory race cars. even bought Cady decal sheets for both teams. I am now going to finally build those cars. But to get going again I just did a 71 Hemi Cuda build which i will post pix of. I am also looking to build a replica of the AAR Cuda I own so thats one more build on my list.

Where did you get the bench seat from??? I am looking to build an AAR Cuda just like the one I own and it has a bench seat auto on column and am looking for a bench seat for the build. Thanks.
