1990 C1500 laid on the ground on 20" billets. Truck was built with the early 2000's in mind. It has a escalade front end conversion, fully shaved, custom back half frame work and bed floor built around it. Ported bed with plexiglass to the two subs and amp, Fitted what I think is an Impala dash? with a billet steering wheel. Just overall a clean and simple build.

In my 22 years of building models I've never built anything else other than custom cars/trucks. I still don't know exactly why I suddenly wanted to try and build a carrier "especially with on experience at all in ships" But I think it came out pretty decent for my first try. I learned a lot more things giving this a go and was my first try at really trying to weather something with a little bit of blackwashing on most of it the build. From the very start of it though I had one vision in mind which was it floating in my pond! Made for the finish photo's to be pretty sweet I think!

Kept this build very simple and clean. Set it down as far as it would go with out cutting it up. Shaved the door handles and the trim to give the body a cleaner look. Dropped the LT1 from the SS Camaro kit into it and put some 20 inch wheels with little bit of black to highlight them more. Interior is pretty much stock. Painted an air tank and put air compressors behind the rear seat. Overall it was a fun little build.

That's kind of where I'm stuck at it. Keeping it basic but yet still custom enough that it flows with the rest of the build. I throwing idea of cutting up the dash to move parts around and make it a right hand drive with the dash being fairly smoothed out but not fully taking away from it's look either. I still got some work to do till I'm at that point though lol

I keep meaning to switch the tires around. Bad habit of mine is not paying attention to the direction lol. Once the bed floor is done you'll never see them again anyway 🤣

There's some 1/20 ext cab kits out there by AMT and Lindberg. Not many 1/25 Hardbodies out there at all though. appreciate it also!

I have quite a few more from over the years I'll eventually post over time as well as new builds I slowly get done.

It was made by guy named Chris Walker "night_stalker_customs" He unfortunately passed away a few years back though so odds of getting one of these will probably be slim
