  1. Decided to have a small portion of the 65 hood molded into the body. But want to do something different with the actual hood part. Fitting a spare 70's c10 hood I have and I'm pretty conflicted with it. It shows that there could be some potential is the look with a bit more fitting and bodywork to match the 65 a bit better but I also feel by the time that's all said and done you probably wouldn't even be able to tell it has a 70's hood incorporated into it as well.. The other one is from the 60's Apache. It doesn't look that much different aside from where the ovals are. The size is dramatically smaller which kind of gives it a cool look but at the same time I just don't know. Would it look better filling in the old ovals or leaving them and incorporating this same look into the bed later on?
  2. Wheels with three coats of Molotow liquid chrome one them.
  3. Thank you! I have quite a few more I'll post over time! Several more S10's lol
  4. 65 but yes it's the Revell one. It's a pretty good kit. I've only built one of them fully once so far but don't recall any major fitness issues or anything.
  5. Awesome builds! Hinges have not been in my favor too much lol.
  6. At a little stand still on my other build so decided to start on another one but this one is a 65 model. I started shaving stuff on the cab at some point in time. I've took off the smoothed firewall I originally added on and sectioned a spare 60's bed side to continue the body design completely around. I still have some work to do with it but going to wait till I have a motor just I don't end up having to redo stuff later for clearance. I cut opened the grille so I can add mesh to it later on when it's finished but also took down the back side of it a good bit "Random thought I had" And it looks really good sucked in a little bit now that I see it done. Was originally going with a molded in front bumper look like I've done on my 60 Chevy but think I'll cut it out and run a stock bumper either smoothed and painted or smoothed out and re-chromed just so they aren't too much of the same. I will be molding the grille into the front end but just enough to fill the gaps and not to take away from the overall appearance too much. I don't have much plans in mind for this one yet but it'll definitely be unique in the end.
  7. She's far from perfect but shaping out quite nicely!
  8. Looks incredible!
  9. I just discovered him over the weekend. I love the quality and how quickly he got it out also! Already have a few other wheels saved for future builds lol. I've been thinking of smooth door panels or at least smoothing out the factory look and making my own panels to add onto them. Maybe whatever I do with the door panels could get implemented into the headliner as well. Part of me keeps eyeing the thought of a newer style interior like the 99 Silverado perhaps but with a lot smoothness added to it.
  10. My take at the Revell 84 Chevy C10. Built a full frame to lay it on the ground and be body dropped on 24 inch wheels. "their a mix of a Raceline/Intro design" Took a 5.3 from the 99 Silverado kit and just painted it to match with an aftermarket air filter on it. The frame has two 3D printed tanks and compress incorporated into it. I shaved everything on this one, opened up the sunroof and molded in the front bumper, grille and hood to just give the truck a more slick look, plus to just be different from all of the other builds of these trucks. The grille is just some random mesh I had laying around from something else and LED taillights are a decal I had printed. For the interior I built a center console with a single sub and shifter. The dash was completely smoothed out getting rid of the vents, radio and even the cluster. It has a scratch built box sunken into the dash with a different cluster decal to just be slightly more custom. I don't remember the name of this color but it's a rust oleum paint color.
  11. My Intro Vista's from Jay's resin wheels showed up this afternoon. Running a 24 inch with a decent rear lip. Will start chroming them tonight so hopefully soon I can start building out the frame for this thing. If anyone has any interior ideas please share! I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. I want it to be custom but also not completely take away from the 60's era of it lol.
  12. Thanks everyone! 🤙
  13. I'd love to see more of this build if you have a thread on it?
  14. Decided to use the hood from a 65. I'm not a big fan of the hood that came with it. The hood is molded into the fenders, cab and front clip to just carry over little more of the custom touch like I've done with the bed. Even with majority of the hood being like this you can still plenty of the engine department. I've also tucked in the front bumper a little bit and started molding that in as well as getting rid of the rood cap "Not sure what it's called" But without the roof just has a more fitting look to the rest of the body mods. New wheels should be here later today and hopefully soon the big block twin turbo motor that's going to be in it.
  15. I honestly don't remember. I bought them back in 2018 from someone who wasn't really printing wheels to sell. The new wheels I ordered though are very similar "Intro Vistas" You can find them through a google search if you just add 1/25 after the name
  16. As soon as I finish some of the body mods I'll start on that. Still waiting on a motor to get here too
