  1. I too love this year of a factory custom. Absolutely love the rear view. IMHO I am not a fan of those that decide to put the continental kit on a 59 as it wrecks the flow. I also like when the front nostrils are tastefully filled. What is the second color you are going to use?
  2. This model was completed last year around this time, but wasn’t happy with the results and has never seen the light of day. Currently reworking the body combining a one year only style of a 70 Coronet Super Bee and the Lindbergh 2007 Super Bee Charger. Lots of work has gone into both the front and rear ends to incorporate the 70 in a “What if” approach to the Charger. Thanks for checking it out.
  3. Very nice Ferby! Can’t wait to see the next steps!
  4. While I didn’t readily find one in a Google search specific to 1/24 scale model cars, I found 1/24 scale 1953 Buick diecasts (whole car) going for ~ $35.
  5. Love all the work thus far to include the Pontiac grill. IMHO I would lose the bumper guard. If you want to still use it, perhaps a waterfall grill from a Buick would look great.
  6. The slanted C pillars look fantastic! Did you make new ones or did you modify originals?

  8. Looks great! I have a model done in black that I simply can’t get the scratches out. Is the Tamiya compounds good? Assume there is more than one? What clear were you going to use?
  9. Yeah… like none😀
  10. Fantastic job on all the body work and can’t wait to see it done. On another topic, you mentioned the Revell chrome spray. Have you used it before and are happy with results?
  11. Just seeing this thread for the first time. Absolutely killer work on this! Lots of time and patience into this. And the paint… Gene would be proud!
  12. Thanks for the suggestions. Digging mcs1056 suggestion.
  13. Looking for a source of various sizes of chrome bullets for grills, bumpers, etc. I thought that I might find something at a craft store, to no avail. Perhaps a modeler out there has a tip to making these?
  14. New to joining this forum, but have been building for many years. I think I only built box stock twice: my first model (many, many years ago) and about 15 years ago (of my first model). Since then, I have modified everything I have built (some with good results). I joined the forum to ask questions and hopefully answer some. Occasionally I may post pictures of builds in progress or completed.
