  1. Ajulia, thanks. I appreciate the encouragement. Mark, my choice of kits was pure ignorance and naivete. Almost every modification/scratch build that I made on this thing is a first for me. I only have one prior build under my belt that I completed as an adult. My teenage builds were all glue bombs and I stopped building when I was 15 or 16. Believe me, I've felt like I bit off more than I could chew on many occasions with this build. Thanks for feeling my pain. Coyotehybrids, thanks for the compliment.
  2. Foxer, thanks for the comment on the panels. I went through a few designs before I came up with something that I like. Cesar, thanks bro. Any progress on the Magnum or the Mustang? Bob, I really appreciate the compliment from a paint master. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with Crystal Clear. It dries hard and polishes well. Drgron63, thanks. Hopefully, I'll have some progress to post next week.
  3. Those turbos look great.
  4. Another sick build from the chassis master. Where did you source the engine and wheels?
  5. A few more.
  6. I had the first productive time on bench in months over the weekend. I had to repair the fender wells, which were cracked when I dropped the part. I also fixed some problems with the frame. I got some clear on it a few weeks ago and finally came up with a design I like for the door panels. The clear is Crystal Clear, which is an acrylic. I used an acrylic to avoid some of the well documented problems with Kustom Kolors color coats. Hopefully, I can keep it up and get this thing going again.
  7. Jimmy Carter must have gotten a heck of a tan and a acting job. I think you meant Jimmy Walker.
  8. Cliffo, That four link looks awesome. What size hardware did you use for the bolts and screws?
  9. Looks great!
  10. Twin turbo.
  11. Welcome aboard Thumper. Glad to see you here. The sleeper looks great.
  12. That's one smooth paint job.
  13. Super clean and super cool. The body mods are subtle and very well done. The paint is gorgeous, as always. I also ike the whitewalls and steelies.
  14. Gorgeous build and nice photography. I really like the black background. Are there any tricks to using a black background for the photos.
  15. I followed this build on another forum. Outstanding work as always. What is the Koni dial on the passenger side of the interior?
  16. It's hard to believe you started with a GTO... very clever. Outstanding workmanship!
  17. Nice start. I really like the sprint car type intake.
  18. Great advice! Thanks.
  19. Nice work mating the vette running gear to the '56. The paint really pops and the colors are very complimentary. The beer is a nice touch.
  20. Truly impressive. The paint and detailing are spectacular.
  21. The bmf application looks great. How the heck did you wrap it around those curves with no wrinkles.
