  4. Just finished this up the other day. CHECK OUT THE REST https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.716290118429019.1073741981.123299601061410&type=1&l=9efa4a0153
  5. I will restate this. BE CAREFUL WITH THE PIN THAT HOLD THE ROTATING PART TO THE BODY...... You may want to extend it or something. This really bit me in the ass.as the weight of the ladder really makes the stress point a bit to much.
  6. Yep I took me months to get it right with still some mistakes.
  7. HAHAHA understand and now throw a lonestar in the mix
  8. When you gona finish this one?
  9. "Now, I've been given the "Heads Up" on the cab mounts, But I think it might be an easy fix....We'll see...." What's up with the cab mounts?
  10. Again Thank you everyone. It was a very LONGGGGGGGGGGG Build took way longer then I thought it would. Mostly on converting the boat. It's far from perfect but our Club sponsor Xtreme Autowerkes loves it. For those who asked it's just under 5 feet.
  11. Happy you liked my lonestar interior. You did a great job. I'm actually going to follow your idea as I like it very much and do an extended sleeper wrecker as well.
  12. Be careful when cleaning the ladder portion, Also you may want to reinforce the pin used to hold the rotating base to the truck. I found this out the hard way. BTW here is a link to the one I built. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.546261708765195.1073741891.123299601061410&type=1&l=a4e3a42395
  13. Thank you everyone. I hope to get some outside shots this weekend so you can see the rest.
  14. This is my Tri Drive Lonestar pulling a semi scratch built Boat trailer with a heavily modified Miss Budweiser boat. The trailer started as a basic conversion to a duel drop deck flat bed then everything went crazy from there. 2 amt flat beds were combined reinforced and the box in the front and the shop in the back were added. The Boat started off life as the Miss Budweiser kit from the 70's The kit came with a open engine area with a Allison engine. I didn't like that so 2 1/2 months lots of bondo blood and curse words I totally enclosed the engine bay. Better pictures very soon
  15. Here is my Lonestar with a helicopter load
  16. When money allows I try to. If you have a chance to attend a show Moebius is at bring extra money they are always selling damage box kits for much less then retail
  17. He did but I cannot elaborate at this time.
  18. Had a great time. Good Friends great models, Too Much to buy and... HEY MOE!!!!
  19. I spoke to Frank as well. Actually speak to him alot. He told me the same thing about the prostar. But I think that will pick up as there are more seen built. Also the europeans don't seem to be as interested in the Prostar. I actually agree with them. I prefer the Lonestar. But I was also told there is something in the pipe line that we are all going to be very very happy about. I did buy 1 more prostar and 2 more lonestars at the IPMS Orlando Show. so far I have 3 built lonestars Standard Wrecker Tri Axle Still have to build 2 more RG Lonestars 2 more Moebius Lonestars 2 Moebius Prostars.
  20. The Model Builders Mafia boys will be in attendance.
