  1. As we all aware after 9-11 many FDNY trucks where destroyed during the collapse of the trade center. So I built this truck to represent a truck donated to the FDNY. The kit is the Revell Germany Schlingmann TLF 16/25 Mercedes Benz Atego 1529 AF (Really nice kit) The Decals are from Chimmneyville. Built basically right out of the box. I did add working interior lights from Policecarmodels (great Stuff) There is a bunch of details on the interior that I will show once done.

I scratchbuilt a center pull out draw for the helicopter rotor blades, and a winch to secure the load. The trailer also has wiring for the brake lights and hook up to the pickup. The helicopter is a Hughes 500 from hobbycraft (yes it is 1/24 scale). I also added a few details on the interior like a flashlight, paper work, Crime Scene tape and more. Lots more pictures here

  23. This is a Trabant 601 Limousine with Budapest Hungarian Rendorseg Police decals I purchased on Ebay. The kit is built out of the box, I weathered the whole car with MIG powders to acheive the long used not taken care of look I was going for. On the interior i cut up the seats and added duct tape style repairs, added in a few magazines, news papers and other junk. The engine bay was also weathered to look like service has not been done in many many years. A broken window on the passanger side rear was also added. See all the pics here
