  1. Thank you all for the compliments!! It took lot's of time but in the end it was all worth it.
  2. I've sold quite a bunch already. You can contact me if you like to buy one. Thanks you all for your replies, really appreciate it!
  3. Hi guys, I've been crazy busy lately so almost no time to be online. I finaly got a chance to finish all the resin parts for my full function RC '87 Monte Carlo LS.A good friend of mine recently bought a Chevy Monte Carlo LS and he wanted to build one in miniature. All the parts match the original and especially the grill was hard to build and Im proud of the result. First time I worked with crystal clear resin and although it is more difficult to work with compared to regular resin the lenses came out perfect. Tiny pieces of styrene to construct the LS grill. First stage cast of the grill piece. Finished molds Finished front clip including the emblem on the grill. Created seperate head light casing casted in black resin and lenses using crystal clear resin. The mirrors and rear lights also differ from the standard Monte Carlo SS kit. The MC Aerocoupe offered the right parts and I also casted these. Next is creating the working chassis and adding a hopping mechanism.
  4. Beautifull build!! I def like the skirts it adds more elegance.
  5. Your right, let me refrain: Unbelievable no MAJOR model kit company has one out. About time someone is going to make resin copies of the Airfix version. I know I would as soon as I lay my hands on one.
  6. I had the same idea!
  7. That's ART! I really like all the creativity that went into these models making it one of a kind creations.
  8. But I read that version proportions are not right... and it is a curbside model as well.
  9. Really like what you do with customizing die cast cars. It's def something I want to get into because there range of 1/18 models is exceptional.
  10. I really like what you did with stretching the doors!
  11. Def one of the best detailed chassis I've seen so far! On the DB5: Really unbelievable that no company offers this iconic model anymore...
  12. Really like what you did with the interior gives it a real feel.
  13. Thanks guys! The driver is one of a set that comes as Locster riders: They look cool but it's hard to make em fit right but you can use needles to improve that. The music is done by a friend of mine and I always try to blend the images with the music to get the right feel. Here's the link to the video:
  14. I'm a dedicated builder of working lowrider models since the early '90's and I went from constructing line controled models to advanced radio controled creations. This is one of my latest projects I'm currently working on the 80's Revell Cadillac Fleetwood turned into a working radio controled lowrider model. It's far from finished but the basic setup works and only needs some final adjustments. I have a couple of more tricks that I want to incorporate into this model that I will show later on. The rear axle consists of two pager motors with a planetary gearhead that makes the car roll back and forth. The slingshot keeps the rear axle in place when the car goes side to side or three wheel motion. The front has a slider setup that makes the wheels go up and down. The A-arms just move along. Here's the model with all the working parts installed and hooked up to a 8 channel receiver. It moves very well and since all the features are proportional you can adjust the up and down speeds. Still lot's of work to be done like working head lights, blinkers, etc. The wheels I casted using the original Aoshima wire wheels and still need to be chromed. The tires are downsized Pegasus 5.20's casted in urethane rubber. When it's finished it will be one of the best creations I did so far. For more info on my work and video of this model you can check my blog or website. BLOG Thanks for looking!
  15. has not set their status

  16. I say that's a perfect chopped top! Not too little and not too much.
  17. Any ideas's on the turn out time with Little Motor Kar Co.? I have a large quantity of resin parts that need to get chromed. Over here in Europe there's no company doing that job for individuals. @Harry.P: Good to hear the pics help you out!
  18. Here the final photo's of Kosutte Ginsan used on a blue metallic spray can cap and metallic blue parts. It does look better but still it looks like polished steel and misses the bright silver tint. If you want your parts to look like high polished metal than this is the best product you can buy. If you spray a perfect high gloss blue basecoat there's simply nothing that can go wrong with this stuff. Blue painted wire wheel photo with and without flash. Fender part and original chromed grill to compare. Original chromed kit grill and blue metallic cap with Kosutte applied. Blue metallic chromed cap and chrome vinyl tape. Original chromed kit grill on chrome vinyl tape. That's it.
  19. WoW! Great job! Really nice to see this kind of custom fabrication on die cast cars!
