First off thanks for all the comments that means alot. Here is a little progress mock up.The engine is done and glued in.The rest is just setting there.Everything seams to fit well after clean up.
If you like trimming flash this is the kit for you. This will be a kit build with plug wire and thats it.All the chrome is stripped cause thats not very good either. If ya can't tell the paint theme will be orange and white, all cheap walmart paint, even the clear.I've seen this kit many times through-out my life and every time its been open and the back tires are missing.I got this and another sealed 57 vette for about $8 sent to the door. Thanks for stoppin in.
The motor looks great.Good job saving the frame,if you can save that, you can save the forks.I don't see the skins in any of your pics.Do you have the tank and fenders?Lets see some more.
Well George, your rite on the home plate. But ,I'm a lazy guy so I cut the tube on the filter system and angled it to fit. Here are the pics.olarge1,I'm thinkin Dupli-Color Orange Mist. But thats not set in stone.
I like your build its very smooth lookin.I doing the same thing but with an LT motor from a Caprice. That rear end is killer so are the door panels.Great work keep at it.
Cool van. Will the side door slide like a real one? Also being called the Supervan, will it have Superman graphix?Just some of my thoughts.Whatever you planned on, I'm sure it will be wild.
A Trend setter? me?I hardley doubt it,but thanks for the kind words.Havn't herd of Hot Fuzz sounds like a good porn movie.j/kThanks for the cool comments tho.The back seat must go or the pan won't fit.I may cut it out and reattach it.We'll see. Thanks again.
I've been thinkin of smashin these two kits together for awhile. So I sized em up and I hope it works. When I look at the profile it looks kinda silly but I haven't seen one so I figure, why not?
